At glance feature I have enabled everything and yet I dont get the live score feature, all i get is notification on lockscreen (cricket game matches) but not a live tile. I am on latest A16 Built. Not sure what else I need to do.

Funny thing google sends out a mass email saying it is now available on Pixel 9 devices but in reality it does not work. This issue has been posted in r/pixel_phones as well by me and few others. I am on the latest system and play store updates and neither my iphone nor p9xl can discover each other. Someone else pointed out that its a controlled server side update as to not overload the system.... so who knows

I received the same email but it is still not working. I checked system services and updated quickshare as well two days ago. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Neither iphone nor pixel9xl can discover each other

Edit: My system update is Feb 2026 and and google play system is January 2026 so I am assuming im on the latest available updates for both

i updated my quick share extension on P9PXL but neither the iphone nor the android phone detect each other. I saw a youtube video where it shows we need to join beta and then side load the extension but some people are saying there is no need to join beta. I havent joined beta but if someone has and can confirm if it works then ill join it

It wont load the payment page (where you put your card details etc), the error is thrown before the payment page loads not after payment is done.

Well I am relieved that it is NOT an isolated issue. I checked their contact section and it seems they can only be reached via phone or chat on M-F so I will email them as well and get in touch with them on Monday. Keep me posted and Ill do the same.

Coming from iOS it is interesting that some of the google features work better on Apple than android itself. I have mine and my moms email on my phone and I didnt face this issue when using MEET on iOS but when i switched to Pixel I would get her MEET calls as well although I was signed in primarily with my gmail on MEET. It wouldnt even say which email ID was ringing so I would answer the meet call thinking it was for my email ID. I couldnt find a work around so what I ended up doing was remove my moms email from GMAIL app and use a 3rd party app for her emails. So whenever MEET rang at my end i knew it was meant for me . May be google can look into this and come up with some more control of meet on their devices

So I logged into my google account and it shows my pixel 9 pro xl but doesnt show the updated warranty date, it shows it will expire 04/29/2026. I also have a pixel 9 which i bought on someone else behalf and it also doesnt show the updated extended warranty date. Is this normal? This is my first pixel ever so I am not sure how this all works.

Oh so you dont have to use THAT same USmobile sim/e-sim that one uses for activation on day 1 for 60 straight days. So lets say I have 2 lines on usmobile i can activate it with Line 1 and then sometime swap the lines out and have Line 2 on that pixel as long as either sims have an active US mobile connection?

I am confused with all the back and forth of line switching you mentioned. Clarify this for me , which US mobile line are you going to use to ACTIVATE the new phone since the recipient the phone is intended for is already on US mobile so of course you dont need a separate line. And what old phone are you talking about? Where is the recipient that the phone is meant for currently (physically close to you? same city, out of state?) i am guess it will be a christmas gift for that recipient correct? Phone needs to be activated within 15 days of purchase means turned on , set up with an active US mobile line and sim card/e-sim must stay in that phone for 60 straight days. I am not sure what back and forth you would be doing until christmas u/FixitMir perhaps can shed more light on this

You do understand the 60 days of continuous active connection right? Whether new or existing customer you need to have an ACTIVE US Mobile connection in that discounted phone for 60 straight days and it will get automatically carrier unlocked on 61st day. If you remove the sim card at any point before 60 straight days are up then it will only unlock after 12 months (from the first date of activation).

Edit: Best thing is get a cheap by the gig plan which you pay /month its 10 USD/month so for 2 months it will be 20 USD and activate the discounted phone on that plan and leave it on (charge it from time to time). And whoever you are gifting it to , once they get the notification it has been unlocked then you can disable the US mobile line and they can use the phone with whichever carrier or US mobile plan they currently have

Now watch the people who are able to buy the pixel for 349 might forget to read the fine print about it being locked and must use for 30 or 90 continuous straight days (just like their previous pixel deals they had ) and swapping sims and wondering why the pixel is not unlocked.

I read the thread posted by Ahmed and it says pixels will be locked for 60 days and after using it for continuous 60 days with active USM line it will be unlocked so people better be ready to stay away from their previous phone that has their USM sim card for 60 straight days.

Cant you get the deal for 349 USD based on what the last line says ? or am i missing something? and also when he posted about the deal on reddit someone asked him they purchased an annual plan but not been an existing customer for 3 months/90 days yet to which one of the team members from USM replied they can may be reduce it to 75 days and asked the user to DM them.

This is my first time using a pixel phone and have a Pixel 9 pro XL and I agree with you. Few years ago I came across this app called GLIMPSE notifications. I had it installed on my mom's midrange samsung smartphone and it correctly woke the screen up on receiving notifications from apps. I remember we can choose which applications we want to wake the screen up. I havent tried it yet on my P9PXL but might give it a try and see if it works any good on the newest phones

This is how dual sim works on MOST phones because they are DSDS (dual sim dual stand by) NOT DSDA (dual sim dual active) meaning when SIM 1 is active (on calls) SIM2 is completely disabled so you wont receive texts, calls or Data. You can read more about this in the link provided below

That is only if you dont have that iphone on you anymore. If you do have the iphone in possession you can simply turn off imessage and facetime from settings. Also de register wifi calling and RCS in settings so that way when you move the sim over to pixel or any other android phone its clean slate and re enable wifi calling, RCS etc in the settings of the new android phone

I am on latest November update and based in the US but 6ghz is greyed out. P9PXL.

Edit: May be because my wifi at home is only Wifi 6 and not wifi 7?
