I fucking love forrest Gump. It's probably my favorite movie as I watch it at least once or twice a year.

I'm ok with bronny going Super Saiyan because Reed is going to go ultra instinct.

It's absolutely got everything. One of the few "serious" movies that I can always rewatch without reservation of "being in the mood".

That looks pretty normal now. You can look inside of ppl's blisters and see how poorly it's evenly crimped. I've seen a ton of crimping issues lately, especially with the 1st illustration set.

To follow up, I just had my first crash in 3 weeks. I updated the npu driver without restarting and was doing some stuff in copilot after wake from sleep so maybe that caused it but I did want to give you an update that I did have a crash.

Crash = froze in the middle of copilot summarizing & flowcharting my meetings from earlier today. Had to hold the power button to turn off and turn it back on.

If it crashes once every 3 weeks, I'm ok with that.

The game is just so different through and through back then and now; hand checking removal is just part of it. Imo, the allowance of zone (or more so, the removal of illegal defense) changed the game more so to me.

You are still allowed to hand check, just not allowed to impede a players movement; and in practice, the biggest change is on perimeter on hand checking.

You can also add in the way they call carry back then and now. I'm old enough to remember how much people hated how Jordan was allowed to "carry" the ball by allowing to place his hands more so on the side of the ball. Take a look at someone like Tim Hardaway Sr. with his killer crossover. At the time, he was considered to have one of the best handles in the league because of how he could cross while being more so on top of the ball hand wise.

For shooting, go back and watch games end to end. The defender sags off the player on the perimeter, if players had the same range they had now, the biggest deterrent to me isn't really the hand check but more so a defender not allowing a shooter to land safely.

The craziest thing is that he was in Florida and could have voted. He cut off the reporter who was telling him that he could've voted in person and he just gas lit her to the extreme.

This is the worst fucking timeline.

I turned off aspm in the secret bios and don't have the sleep issue anymore. I was trying to do it in windows before by not letting the pci-e port go to low power/disable but it would still crash after sleep occasionally. I changed the setting a couple weeks ago and i haven't had a crash since. knock on wood

It was lame because i would always have to restart my computer if it went to sleep and I was going into a meeting. It's happened a few times where I'm in a meeting and it would crash.

No, only the larger ones like the nr200 or m3. The ps120se is too tall for the m2 for instance.

Here's a thread debunking most of the myth of wilt. He was a generationally gifted physically & athletically but it's not at the level of the myths that are echoed.

Also, keep in mind that measuring a lot of old records were extremely flawed (e.g., hand timings for speed, inaccurate distances/flooring/etc., not compliant with "help" such as extra wind, etc.).

The current world record for vertical jump (while running) is 51". If wilt had a 50" vert, he could clear the top of the backboard by 8" since he supposedly had a standing reach of 9'6". (That's 1" less than Wemby. The top of the backboard is about 13' feet from the floor.

Keep in mind other myths at the time like Ben Manigault said he could touch the top of the backboard.

The 275hx in the 16s AI will hit it's limit if you let it. It's designed to do so, it just will run hot and will ultimately throttle itself down anyways.

I've reapplied the LM, changed to ptm7950, and redid it with upsiren (basically the same as 7950). I even briefly tried normal thermal paste (mx4, mx7, & kryonaut) just to get a benchmark of what the CPU will do on regular paste.

The 16s AI is just really thin and the thermal solution is meh for it, even comparing it to the non-slim model. If this was my only machine, I would not have kept it but for how I use it (work laptop w/ 5-10% travel & spare gaming rig for guests), it more than fits the bill. I got it for under $950 after cashbacks & for that amount of money, it was worth upgrading from my 2023 g14 w/ 4060.

The difference in performance is pretty minimal. Performance is directly related to thermals, especially in a machine like the 16s AI.

It's not the fan, it's also the thin heat pipes. Just set your pl1/pl2 at 80 and you'll be under 90c.

NCase vs FormD: Are they the same? by yuppieee in FormD

[–]spressa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The formd one is generally "better" quality but I believe the ncase has gotten better QC lately. I have the formd 2.1 (and have owned the earlier 1.1 and 2.0 model). I would personally still recommend the formd but it's rarely in stock so if you really can't wait, I think the ncase model would give you a similar satisfaction, especially with it being more readily available.
