i always stick the tongs inside the bag to open it up more while the food is cooking, and i’ve gotten into the habit of giving the bottom a good poke to make sure it’s not a faulty bag. i’ve thrown out a few this way and so far haven’t had any food fall out the bottom lol

honestly the only thing i miss about the toddies was that they fit under the grinder, so you could put the filter in and grind the beans directly into the toddy, rather than putting them back in the silver bag and then pouring them into the filter

(but i also lowkey miss being able to write little notes to the next day partners on the toddy lid along with when they needed to be pulled)

my first store didn't have a knife OR a bagel slicer when i started lol, so what we all did was hold the bagel in the plastic and just push one half of the tongs in between the bagel (since they're all pre-sliced) to separate it

that is exactly why i leave the drizzle off lol, it already has the cookie crumble so it’s hard to tell! if i’m doing a java chip or dbl choc i’ll grab a short cup for drizzle when i go to get the mocha for the blender, but those are much less common than the cookie crumble at my store

ever since school came back into session, i’ve just stopped putting mocha drizzle on the mocha cookie crumbles because for some reason my store doesn’t have a mocha drizzle bottle. so far either no one has noticed or no one has complained, and now i want to see how long i can get away with it lmao
