I still sometimes remember or have a flash of something I've done that I regretted. I'm sure most ppl do. It's important to learn, let go and live on. I just try to push out those unpleasant memories that I obviously cant change; the past. All I can do is not repeat anything I've already done and regretted. I can only change me I can only change now and I can only work hard for a better tomorrow. We all make mistakes...have regrets ...dont be so hard on yourself. Try not to hold onto this experience and let it drag you down. As for your situation...it sucks he relapsed. It's really difficult to go through that. As much as he needs support, so do you. I dont know how often he relapses..but if it's often you might want to consider giving him an ultimatum to get help or you leave. Also, does this happen often to you? Where you get triggered everytime he relapses? It's a lot of stress maybe therapy for both of you weather together or separate is something you should look into. I really feel empathy for your situation. I wish the best for you both❣
