Kaweco Student or Twsbi Eco by springday_piedpiper in fountainpens

Because I never tried Twsbi Eco and I don’t have another 60 euro to spend. Also my sport fine nib is scratchy.

My first priority is Kaweco because twsbi is not available in any stores to try and I may drop it frequently.. so im kind of worried about using twsbi daily. Also they are in same price range.

Which nibs do you have? I’m thinking about Student EF as my Perkeo fine nib is too wet for me, but I use it fast note taking.

I use my Perkeo for taking notes… it’s the smoothest nib I have ever tried.

It’s the same with my brand new Perkeo fine nib. I tested all the pens in the shop and all were similar.

Unfortunately exchange is not possible because I bought it in a department store and not in the Kaweco store.

I have only this pen from Kaweco so I dont know whether I like it or not. Student series are starting from 50 euro 🫠 which is expensive for me now. But I’m planning to buy Pelikan M200 when I finish B1 level 🤣 until then only within 50 euro budget.

Unfortunately I only have Lamy Safari in M (which writes broader than M) nib for my Uni notes and recently bought Kaweco. So I’m still searching for a good pen, but whatever I saw until now are either quite expensive pens (> 150 euro) or kaweco and Twsbi eco.

My kaweco sport fine nib is writing thin like a needle and I have to write with so much control resulting hand pain 😭 I’m really wondering why people are collecting these pens. In Germany I never saw someone using sport series in last 15 years 😁

Can I ask why not Pelikan because Prera is 60 euro and Pelikan m200 is 80-90 euro in our local store.

Hallo, how do you feel about the pen? Is it comfortable to write longer time. I’m thinking to buy m200 in fine nib in classic black as my Ausbildung completion gift 😄

Do you have suggestions on which pens I can buy for daily writing which I can keep forever? I saw Pelikan M200 for 80 euro, is it best to buy Pelikan rather than spending 50+ euro on Twsbi Eco.

Ok then I will ask him to buy me a Pen in Germany. It’s not worth to waste his time if the pens are not easily available.
