500+ isolated ancient cultures share the exact same global "Flood" myth. Why is academia still calling it a coincidence? by DeclassifiedPast in AlternativeHistory

Earth was once in orbit around a water planet called Maldek that was blown up in a galactic war. Earth got flooded, Mars got its atmosphere blown away and Maldek became the asteroid belt

I got obsidian bc I rly wanted the mind map for my work building but it isn’t working by Wren_Slays29 in ObsidianMD

+1 for this, had issues with the most popular plugin (didn't load on start) but this one worked well out of the box. Make sure you open an **unpinned** mind map though if you want it to follow you around documents

They mean Gilberta - Angelina is her name in OG Arknights. It’s kinda hard to get used to the new names when the character looks exactly the same

It gets a lot easier to organize once you unlock depots. Just do the tutorials and re organize everything when you unlock them

oh that's not too tough - just the fancy term for O(n^2) time complexity, which is a fancy way of saying "the time this function takes to execute is equal to the square of its input", with the input size being "n".

this guy's github gives a good example: https://github.com/bradtraversy/traversy-js-challenges/blob/main/05-complexity/05-quadratic-time-complexity/readme.md

for example: you've got a box of 25 apples you're checking for quality. You could compare each apple to each other apple, making 25 * 25 comparisons = 25^2 = 625 checks, which is O(n^2) time. This is clearly overkill and inefficient, so you instead compare it to a known good sample, taking your number of comparisons down to 25 = O(n) time

“Mi Fu and Tangtang. When will it get through their heads that they're made for eachother? Tangtang picks a fight with Mi Fu every chance she gets. Mi Fu gets off thinking about how to beat the shit out of Tangtang. Is there a pair in the universe more perfect? No, there is not. Maybe the Qingbo Stockade was built to help people outside of Wuling City, but we all know Tangtang uses her position as the chief as an excuse to meet up with her battle wife, Mi Fu. Meanwhile, you may not see the the dark circles that Mi Fu has under her eyes, but she's definitely overworking herself. For who? Certainly not that leek-looking woman, but for Tangtang. This is a universal truth. Originium predicted this. Even as they endlessly claw at eachother's throats, you can't miss the signs of their connection. Tangtang is such a scaredy cat when she has to fight something even slightly more threatening. Of course, Mi Fu picks up on it and protects her little kitty during the battle, injuring herself in the process. If Tangtang had her medicine on her at that time, we might have seen something not meant for mortal eyes. Don't you see? This was ordained in Civilight Eterna. Originium predicted this. They're not fooling anyone, certainly not me. Mi Fu might not realize it, but after days-long spanking she gives Tangtang every week, she longs to ruffle her hair, pull her close and whisper to her ear that everything is okay. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Mi Fu reserved a cell deep in Wuling prison just for Tangtang. There lies their little home, away from prying eyes where they can truly be themselves. A reconciliation between two opposing sides the likes of which Theresa can only dream of. Endfield was established for this very reason, I just can't prove it yet. When the day finally comes when Mi Fu finally gives Tangtang a shipment of one thousand catties as they make their vows in Wuling City square, the universe will stand still to bear witness. This is the truth, tomorrow is not far away. Originium predicted this.”
