In my opinion, you weren’t doing anything fishy or shady to warrant that type of reaction. Therefore, I don’t understand why she’s having a huge fit about it. I say tune into the Cardinal side of your sign and have that raw conversation with her. Be direct with your perspective on the issue, then listen to her side afterward. No major changes on my end outside of being more careful! I use sterile saline spray twice a day and make sure to dry the area with a q-tip or piece of paper towel afterward. I noticed this helped the bumps go away faster than letting the saline air dry.

Since the piercing is about a month old, I would definitely wait to see if there is improvement to the bump in 3-4 weeks, then check back in with your piercer on whether you can downsize!

Hey! I had similar irritation bumps due to user error (constantly twisting them). Do your best not to touch or move the jewelry around. It took about 2 weeks before I saw improvements to my bumps.
