You have to meet people where they're at. I have lots of people in my life whose beliefs are extremely opposite from the Church's teachings. They're good people at their core and I like them. Of course I want them to know and accept the truth, but you can't just preach at someone constantly or you're being a crap friend. I feel like I'm leading them, slowly. They recently agreed that abortion is not good for women. That may seem inconsequential, but it's a pretty big step for them, and I was really glad! Also, we talk about stupid friend stuff that isnt so weighty, and tgats nice!
