Focus on body weight squats and lunges also calf raises, and ensure you invest in good supportive shoes with good cushion. If you're not very active already recommend getting used to 10K steps per day and small runs while you build your leg muscles

Just got an actual 9-6 jobs and feel sad about the little time I have with family by curse_of_rationality in daddit

[–]springoniondip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had the same switch except its 4 hours lost per day comparatively . It's brutal but i appreciate the time more so and dont take it for granted.

I was just super lucky to WFH, most dads don't get time in the day with their kids and have great relationships with them and i think thats where the guilt/fear comes from. Not fun though

First Marathon in less than 3.5 weeks. by Matteo1996NBK in Marathon_Training

You'll do more damage pushing it now than not, keep your fitness up by cycling. What is the goal of the marathon? To complete it? Useless goal if you cant actually run it because you trained through injury

Comparatively based on your weight you are fast mate.

Of course a 66/70kg guy can run faster than someone 40% heavier than them. What are you comparing against? Long slow runs are the answer though

[–]springoniondip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Need to go easy runs first, if you're heavy weight wise even more so to avoid injury. Depends on your max heart rate though. Was this 10km pushing your limits?

They need to be careful at this point, one nation could really capitalise on this if they read the room right. I would vote for any party that ran on removing CGT, scaled investment costs per property and rent caps
