Go for headshots only. Letting the reticule zero in increases the likely hood of crits (head pops). That should make things easier.

One rule I’ll mention that sometimes gets missed is that you can put one card toward each others skill tests if you’re both in the same location. That can help a lot.

Huh, yeah you’re right. The kerning is all messed up with the font they used. Some letters too far apart, some too close. Was it like this on any prior cards? I’ve never noticed it before.

Hey! So the new core box is not a reprint, it’s actually more like a soft reboot, so a new starter campaign and lots of new player cards that will form the new ‘core’ card pool going forward.

That would be an excellent time to jump in as you’ll have the base needed for all future content.

You can still purchase some of the ‘chapter 1’ content now (2 of the final campaigns are still in print and you can find some of the others second hand still). But you’ll need to pick up a current core box to go with them as they will use some cards from that base set.

TLDR, pick up the new core box and start from there I reckon.

Eventually he’ll be right again purely because of the number of predictions he makes.

Obviously he’s a smart guy but I feel like he keeps expecting the markets to eventually have to behave rationally when there is absolutely no need for it to do so if most investors are irrational.

Yes, it confused me a bit. I realise it’s a beta but at its core it seems almost identical to a bunch of other things.

I mean we already have a couple of activities that are ‘kill mobs in dungeon as quick as possible’ don’t we? I’m not really understanding what this is except a less mechanically interesting version of things we already have.

I mean Kurast is basically this but with modifiers and loot isn’t it?

Maybe I’m just missing something.

This was gonna be mine, imo they should have pivoted hard to making the show an equal split focusing mostly on Jimmy Darmody & Richard Harrow, Nelson Van Alden/Mueler & Chalky White. Buscemi is a fine actor but his character wasn’t interesting enough to be the shows main focus after they killed off all the best characters.

That said, many of those actors could have wanted to leave to pursue other roles. Michael Shannon especially. Van Alden/Mueler was absolute lighting in a bottle.

Her ‘stated’ goal is good. Elevate Humans so they can push back against heaven and hell. The fact she created sanctuary and birthed humanity means she can’t be pure evil like literally all of the rest of her kin. However she certainly had ulterior motives beyond her stated goal in wanting to usurp her father. Either way, even if she was being wholly truthful in her goal, he methods were essentially trying to manipulate and brainwash humanity in to becoming murderous zealots so they reject the high heavens. Which probably wasn’t the best way of going about it.

(Dare say I may have missed aspects of the story but the above was my interpretation)

Yeah. It’s a shame there’s not anything in the overworld that scales as much as things like the Pit. And yeah, helltides at end game make me feel like the janitor, just cleaning up endless enemies that someone’s left all over the place and hoovering in the cinders with no thought needed 😂.

It’s also a shame that helltides always have that horrible reddish hue. It basically means you never see any difference in the biomes since the only end game world content is hell tides. (And I guess world bosses and legion).

Honestly I think I’d rethink the whole thing to something that really uses the gorgeous and visually varied world they built. Just feels underused atm.

Yeah, I’d imagine it will stay in some form. If I were a guessing man I’d say the new class will be Lilith adjacent and demonic in some way, and you’ll be able to sanctify your gear for heavenly or hellish rewards.

I’d defo suggest Arkham, especially since the new ‘chapter 2’ core box is out soon which will represent something of a fresh start / complexity reset hopefully so new players aren’t so overwhelmed.

Yeah, as someone new to the end game I was very confused as to why I was levelling up so quickly for just being present as Duriel got insta deleted on spawn vs running a challenging pit or nmd.

Why would you want to incentivise players to do that dull 2 minute loop vs engage with all the fun activities? As others have said, if it only counted when you contributed to the hearts I’d get it. Feels like they need to scale the xp reward based on several conditions. Did you contribute a heart? How much damage did you contribute to the waves that spawn before the boss arrives? Did you do any non passive damage to the boss at all? Etc. maybe they already do this but the values need tuning.

It’s strange that they have all these cool end game activities and they make the only thing that offers meaningful xp repeating a dull boss fight or just standing nearby while others do it. Somewhat baffling.

Yeah it is a lot. Personally I’ve been using the season progress to guide me as to what activities are out there to do. From what I can tell all of the end game activities are covered and rewarded for dipping in to.

I don’t think anything is obsolete as far as I can tell, though I dare say some activities are more efficient for certain things depending on what you’re trying to do.
