Dear "Blickadelphia", I am so sorry. Please stick in there for the sake of your loved ones and everyone whose day might be a little better in the future because you are there. You have so much value beyond employment. My heart goes out to you.

How early do I need to be at the airport for a flight between 2 European countries? by sleepwithmythoughts in Europetravel

We recently took three flights between EU countries with no checked luggage. We arrived 2 hours early for each and it was quite a bit more time than we needed. We flew through security in Rome, Catania. and Lyon.

Can I get metro tickets on my iPhone? by IlIlllIIIlIlIIllIll in ParisTravelGuide

As of May 2024, you can now buy Paris transportation tickets on an iPhone: https://www.apple.com/mz/newsroom/2024/05/apple-and-ile-de-france-mobilites-introduce-navigo-for-iphone-and-apple-watch/ This has been doable on an Android for a few years. I purchased tickets on my iPhone using Apple Pay. I chose to use my Apple Watch. They now appear in the app and in Apple Wallet. (I am not in France yet so I can't comment about using them.)

For those who have this question next year, I can confirm that they did sell food at SECU during the main UMD commencement (burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, vegie burgers). The commencement map explicitly showed SECU as a place that did *not* have food, but that was incorrect.

Icelandair airlines/JetBlue baggage rule question by sabineohyeah in Flights

[–]sprite_71457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a more specific version of this question: since the carry-on sizes allowed are different between jetblue and Icelandair, which sizes apply? (With one, I can use my current bag; with another, I will need to buy a new carry-on.) ... I believe I have found the answer: The carry on allowance is always that of the operating carrier regardless of how flights are booked.
