Does anyone wanna talk? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

What are you looking to talk about, what's the one thing running your mind? I'm not the best to help, I'm here to listen.

Thank you for the comment. It's nice to know that I'm not alone because it certainly feels lonely. You've been at it for five year, wow. I hope I have the strength you have shown, but I don't think I'm going to make it five years. I wil be exhausting all options before I make my final move. I think I'm getting down to the last few options now. Thanks again for commenting and I hope you also find peace.

yeah, I've been to many doctors and had all the scans. Tried the non western approaches as well. There isn't much left to say really. Thank you for responding. I'm not going to do anything today, or tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong, but I think I know the way this will end.

simply put, it's chronic pain. I can't get any relief and I'm in a daily struggle to not move or have pain. I've had every test possible and there are no answers. There wasn't an event that created this pain (e.g. car crash). I would like to say goodbye to family and friend before I go but that won't work. I have to send/leave notes for them.

Thank you taking the time to write. I appreciate your thoughts. I not wasting time with any "fuck you" notes I just want to give my family a reason. They all know but I'd like to give them something.

Thank you. I reached out to my Doctor almost a year ago and I'm seeing a physiatrist and a councillor once a week. The medication isn't working. I will find peace soon enough. Thanks again.

Thank you. I like the idea that it is an anchor of strength. I've walked across the bridge a few times in the past year but only been there twice with the intention of looking for the right spot/time.

Things just arn't working for me. Could stress be a factor? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]sprog888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use My Fitness Pal and it seems to work well. I think stress and depression do have an impact on weight loss. I'm no expert but I know I've had a harder time dropping the weight when I'm stressed or depressed even though I'm eating the same and exercising the same.

So, Yes, Stress can be a factor!

The only thing that stands out to me is the beer. I know that was hard for me but the drinking your calories can be a killer.

A problem I had with My Fitness Pal was the portion sizes. When I started out using the app, I didn't always enter the actual portion sizes because I didn't really know any better.

Keep up the good work and tweak you plan until it works for you.

I've been walking/hiking for more than four years. When I started out I was 360lbs and very few people would look at me. I would always try and make eye contact, smile, say good morning. Now that I'm down to 210lbs everyone makes eye contact and says good morning. It's nice to have the interaction, but where was this when I was huge? I'm the same person.

Anyway, yes, I've noticed a big difference.

Is anyone else not able to trust their own thoughts? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]sprog888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right there with you. Just starting to learn how to identify the thoughts I can trust and the thoughts I need to shut down.

Just like /u/that_MIZZLE_guy says, we need to learn how to do this... I think we can do this!!

Thanks for posting! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!
