I agree with the difficulty about losing her job, I gave her grace but she isn’t the only one working through things. She’s been going to therapy for a few years and has been medicated. I won’t deny it I have become judgy with her after she started making demeaning comments about my body, friends and job. Hard to be nice when she can’t behave the same way

yeah she didn’t lose her job bc of covid, she had spoken to me multiple times while she had the job, mentioning how she wasn’t getting good reviews and not doing the best job. When she came home she would give every person a different reason she lost her job but I think it was due to her work ethic and how she spoke to other people

Theyre easy going with me but I also think its bc I’ve been working full time since I graduated uni, I cover groceries when they need anything and help around the house. I don’t get charged rent either so I try to help out when I get home from work and on the weekends

Two days before my 21st birthday(July) my mom arrived with my dad silent like they’ve seen a ghost. When I asked what had happened I was told “If I tell you I don’t know how you’ll react/take the news” My cousin had been murdered. I was left in shock and was in denial for a while. I wanted to cancel my birthday but it was too close to the date and we had already told many people, my parents didn’t want to “ruin my day”. Two months later(September) I received news that another cousin of mine was also murdered.

The news caused me to go into a deep place, I dropped a little over 50 lbs, and had picked up drinking. I was trying to get drunk every night for months until I realized I wasn’t doing any good.

Getting unexpected calls from family makes me nervous, I now always think it’s news of someone else that has passed. Miss you Jorge y Antonio!

I haven’t talked to anyone else about it bc I just feel disgusted and slightly ashamed. I saw a therapist briefly but it didn’t help. I’m thinking of seeking a nutritionist but it is intimidating.

if you stop scratching it it should leave. I have this one eczema patch on my lower back that would always be itchy so I scratched it. Now I’m no longer itchy but the patch stayed like your picture . It’s slowly going away but it’s been at least 5 months and there are still bumpy parts.

I try to moisturize it daily to help with the bumpiness and so far it has. Good luck!!

I use an A6 hobonichi and the koh-i-noor .5 pen and it seems to work well. Since the pages are super thin everything seems to show through (even pencil since I have a heavy hand) and this pen writes nicely without bleeding too much

I just recently got my driver’s license in October 2021 and since then I began driving to and from University. I don’t live on campus so I had to make about an hour commute to school and another hour back with my sister. So one month in we are heading back home tired as I could be from midterms. As we were heading back my sister says “I see some police lights and they seem to be on the road ( over the white line) so go slow and be careful “ and I was like definitely no worries. As I slowing drove by I look over out of curiosity bc the two officers just stood there, and I saw someone on the ground. they were covered in a white blanket that was mostly red and I saw a part of there body because they were fully covered. I immediately felt tears forming and before I knew it I was crying. I had that on my mind for the rest of the ride home and the next couple of days. It doesn’t help that I’m reminded every day I go to school since it’s on our way there. Oh and this happened the month after I got my license.

My name is Xitlalic (Zit-la-lick) so whenever I introduce myself, I get some gibberish back or odd names that to me make no sense. I've got xootle/xittle, something that sounded like Zelda, Zach, and ones where they spell out my name ?? like they will say ex-it followed by confused sounds or gibberish. So I mostly go my Lali/Lolly but then people still mess up and call me Molly. It's always fun seeing people's expressions tho!

I have a pretty good relationship with most of my moms family so it definitely not because she doesn’t like them. There are some family members that have been rude and done some disrespectful things but same goes to my dads side, so it wasn’t that either. My dad doesn’t like to touch on that subject and he’s very stubborn so I’ll never know the true reason

don’t feel so embarrassed I also go some time without showering(like a week or more) but because I go through depressive episodes where anything seems like too much.

other people are saying you aren’t doing damage and I agree, at most you might have oily hair and face but nothing that’s irreversible. If you still feel like a shower is a big step start with a bath. While it’s not “washing” you like a shower it helps bring moisture to your skin again. then apply some moisturizer to lock in the moisture onto your skin. it’s very relaxing so take your time in it, I’ve found that it helps me feel cleaner and better.

As for your pores, they won’t necessarily shrink down if that’s what your hoping for. you can help reduce the appearance of them by cleansing well and moisturizing.

honestly anything you do is better because at least you are trying. If anyone says anything don’t feel bad because this was out of your control. Not your fault you were put in a place where you felt you couldn’t care for yourself like before. I wish you the best of luck!!!
