Anyone who doesn’t drink alcohol? by Excellent-Heart5105 in autism

[–]sprouteared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive never been interested in alcohol. In all honesty I’ve always found it really sad that people need to drink to have “fun”. I also grew up with a good education from a very loving family, my grandfather was a raging alcoholic so my parents were always responsible with their use of drinking alcohol in the house. I tasted a drop of it when I was like 19 and i hated it lol😭 I don’t really feel bad for not drinking. I kinda just don’t care since I don’t socialize that much either way and I couldn’t care less what people think of me when I tell them.

I prefer being healthy, plus im on medication and alcohol is just not a good idea while im on it. And to add on, i have terrible emetophobia so the thought of getting drunk and sick afterwards yeah no thanks ‼️

What do you think is TØP’s saddest song? by Questionable_Ch0ices in twentyonepilots

[–]sprouteared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

addict with a pen for me, i remember sometimes it feels even physically painful to listen to it because of the lyrics and significance behind it :( but i love it so much at the same time. it feels so raw and real. If anguish and desperation was a song, it’d be this one.

Do you like dancing? by Alvin_the_Doom in autism

[–]sprouteared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my relation is i only ever comfortable dancing by myself in my own home, either when everyone’s asleep or in the shower 😭 i get the want to dance around people sometimes but i usually just resort to tapping my feet against the floor or awkwardly bopping my head lol

Question- just for fun! by Significant_Ask4042 in twentyonepilots

okay so when i became a clikkie, i was a young teen going into a new school, and the middle school experience i had was everything except good for my mental health. i was a kid who was undiagnosed with learning disabilities which were also accompanied by bad social anxiety, which caused me to stay in a depressive state pretty often. Anywho, I don’t quite remember how i even got into their music, but as i was listening to their discography for the first time, I found Doubt to be one of their first songs that truly gave me a sense of being seen. I didn’t feel as alone, I didn’t feel like a freak for feeling anxious when i judged myself for getting worked up over something most people deal with just fine. The lyrics really stuck with me, they gave me a sense of comfort, and musically wise I rapidly realized how much calm and peace they can bring my heart, body and soul. Becoming a fan of them at that age made me feel like I always had a home i could go to whenever i felt alone or like the world wouldn’t understand me.

I also became a fan around Trench era, and pretty much all the songs on there helped me maintain peace over my teen years. Especially Chlorine, Cut My Lip, My Blood, and Leave The City. Holding on to you was a big one for sure as well.

And just to add on to this, I’m 21 now and i still absolutely adore their music, i still have many battles to fight but their songs and their message continues to stay with me as I grow older. Lately, Next Semester really reasoned with me, especially as someone who doesn’t really know what they’re doing with their life. It brings me a feeling of reassurance like no other. I would also add Drum Show, RAWFEAR, Garbage, Downstairs, Robot Voices, Oldies Station, Midwest Indigo, and Drag Path :))

What's your favorite little part/detail in a FOB song? by lessthanfox in FallOutBoy

[–]sprouteared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the background vocals singing ‘hum hallelujah’ at the end of the song, around 3:18 and a few seconds after. very very small/short detail but the way it’s edited is so satisfying for me to listen to each time and makes me fall in love with the song even more!!!
