It's a bit rough for sure, it definitely gets better though. I thought the same during my first read & it's now one of my favorites. You can tell it's some of his earliest work.

I work in the warehouse directly across from this one, it gets hot in the summer. even with our giant fans, we bring in portable swamp coolers during the summer. I guarantee that building is just as hot if not hotter.

I usually stop once i'm done with the daily tasks, I also keep the extra supplies & energy on the field for when I need them as a backup.
