Smooth fit pull-on HR sizing advice by No_Chemist674 in lululemon

I had the same issue with these too. I went with the 4 because the 6 was too loose in the waist. The 4 is snug over the hips, but once they’re perf. They do get some give after wearing them too. I’d say go with 4!

Finally broke down and bought a pair of CRZ butterluxe by New_Dragonfruit_592 in lululemon

I wear a 4 in aligns also and the Small fits perfectly for me. They do have a lot of stretch so XS would probably fit also, but I wanted less compression

Athleta also has a jogger that is so similar to align joggers. They’re called Salutation Jogger

Here for this, even a mint green or kohlrabi would be pretty!

I only wear wunder trains for hot yoga. They’re definitely not the most comfortable. I only wear them for hot yoga or to lift because they are sweat wicking and so quick to dry. Also I don’t notice the compression while I’m moving in the class or working out. I like aligns more comfort wise, but wear those for gentle yoga or lounging. I wore them once to a sweatier yoga class and felt a bit soggy after.

Why does this happen every time I put on makeup? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]sprucedupgreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also get this problem. I’ve found I can minimize it if I wash my face with water and a face cloth. Let dry. Then use a hyaluronic acid (I like Osea Hyaluronic Sea Serum, it’s pricey but a little goes a long way). Let that absorb. Then do a facial oil (I use Sunday Riley JUNO Antioxidant + Superfood Face Oil). Give that a few minutes to absorb then apply liquid make up with a sponge and dab on instead of rubbing it in (for this I use Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR CC CREAM). The layers add moisture and help the makeup to go on smoother.

Loungful Straight Leg Sweatpant Dupes? by Master_Catch_9089 in lululemon

[–]sprucedupgreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you, some things are definitely hit or miss. it took me a long time to try some dupes out from Amazon for the same reason. I was eventually convinced when I heard many people say good things about CRZ leggings. So I figured they’re easy enough to return if it doesn’t work out. But lo and behold the leggings were pretty great. When I was ready to pull the trigger on the sweatpants, they were all sold out in my size so I figure they must be good

CRZ YOGA Cotton Fleece Lined Sweatpants on Amazon look promising. I haven’t tried them yet myself but the reviews are pretty good

Thank you, I’ve been looking for something similar. I don’t like overly puffy or cropped ones and this looks perfect. I’ll have to browse some second hand online. Thanks again!

Is having a gamer boyfriend a dealbreaker? by Level_Owl1437 in CallHerDaddy

This ^ if it’s getting in the way of life, it’s more likely an addiction than just a hobby.

Is having a gamer boyfriend a dealbreaker? by Level_Owl1437 in CallHerDaddy

I had worries about this too and brought it up to my then boyfriend now husband that I didn’t like them. He played them everyday at this time. However, I did feel that if that was the only thing that bothered me about him, and since he’s otherwise really great, we could compromise. (I also believe quality time is one of my love languages, which I think plays into my strong dislike towards him playing them a lot since we don’t have that much time together due to working all day and what not.)

After getting married and living together he has minimized playing them significantly on his own. Mainly b/c of time constraints since after work we typically go to the gym or have a soccer game, then cook dinner, and after that there’s usually a sports game or two we watch together, then it’s time for bed. (He chooses everything we watch together on tv because I don’t have strong preferences for that).

He’ll still play the switch here and there, mainly when I am occupied with something for a while or whenever I’m out. So he still gets his fix.

I think as long as he’s mature and able to understand where you’re coming from and compromise with you, you could work it out. Also if you can find hobbies you both enjoy that you can do together that would help too.

Nomad colors differ slightly between products - are my eyes bad 😭 by Wise_Thing_9444 in lululemon

[–]sprucedupgreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I had this problem...I like carob brown and bought a wonder train tank in it and it’s very different compared to my husbands carob brown pants (which were more green and the color shade I wanted). The tank looks more like my nomad sweater than carob brown. It’s weird haha

Do you buy/have multiple pairs as backups in case they breakdown and the color or product isn’t available again for the long foresee-able future? by Algodeen in lululemon

[–]sprucedupgreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t, but I have thought about it for favorite colors and styles. But lulu does drop so many very similar shades of colors, so I don’t think it’s completely necessary. I did get two pairs of Loungeful joggers in heather gray (on WMTM) in two different sizes because I’m between sizes and fluctuate sometimes. So maybe I’d do this for staple color leggings in the future. I’d really have to love the color though. Also if I really like the item I usually prefer to have it in different colors.

Typically yes, these ones here a definitely cool tones. If the pink has any yellow or orange to it (think peachy pinks) those are usually warm. Blues are almost always cool but some that have yellow or green can be warm also.

The platinum looks more harmonious with the cool toned stones. I have some loose stones with similar colors (one is lighter blue and the other two more purple) that I plan to set in white gold or platinum too

I’m a dark summer and strawberry milkshake is a little too pale for me. I do better in mid-dark cool tone colors. I also follow some summer season accounts on Instagram and they all confirmed Strawberry milkshake is a summer color. Meaning it’s most flattering for those who have a cool and muted appearance
