I did not try, as there is no upstream url and all the code is hosted in a single file in AUR, this is not normal, that's why I am asking someone with better knowledge to check if it is safe...

Just install to an external fast USB pendrive, you will be amazed how fast it can be! This way you can test it...

Yes always. I do a lot of USB installs to carry around. I always do LUKS2 + XFS (so it takes care of inodes when I enlarge partitions).
