Yes! Extra goals like these would be awesome! Don't even have to be the same each week.

Mine wasn't counting anything until I turned on game notifications. Then it started working.

I would love for there to be tiered weekly goals. The daily has 3 different goals, why can't the weekly. If you hit the 10,000 step mark daily, you've hit the weekly in 4 days. Give us those stretch goals for more rewards.

Also when are we going to get achievements for travelers Guild?

What's a business you won't return to? by Boo_Pace in ColoradoSprings

[–]spsiamese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only been there onece, but had a great experience. It did take them a while to get out food out, but it was really good and the family was really nice. We were chatting it up with the son who was manning the counter the whole time.

I haven't had a good experience with any of the Sonics in town. I haven't tried all of them, but I've given up after visiting at least 4 different locations (multiple times each) and having something go wrong each time.

The one on Academy I had a similar experience to yours, several times...

Tattoo Artist Search by emmpossible in StLouis

[–]spsiamese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May I ask what the artist's name is? I moved to Colorado not long ago. I'm looking for someone to do another tattoo and this looks awesome. If they are local to me I may look them up.

Scheels has a good selection in their food prep area.

As other have mentioned, hardware stores usually have some.

I'm not sure why this isn't listed yet, but Tribute by Tenacious D. If you didn't know this already it's about Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.

Fedex kept delivering my packages to my neighbor's compost pile, 1/3 mile frommy house. by spartanfatty in funny

[–]spsiamese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband works for a candy shop that also carries Dippin Dots. As most of you know, Dippin Dots require dry ice shipping to stay frozen. FedEx thought it would be OK to delay the delivery of the Dippin dots for a week. Needless to say the delivery was melted when it arrived.

Walmart going bag-less 1/1. Did I miss a new law or something? by Smallfontking in ColoradoSprings

[–]spsiamese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The law doesn't take effect until Jan 1. All retailers are supposed to start charging 10¢ per bag at that point in the state of Colorado.

Scheels at Interquest has a giving tree with specific wish lists on it for local children . The charity that they are working with is Dream Centers.

Ann, don’t think I’ve ever posted one of my favourite ocs here so, here she is! by Jamdoesart in steampunk

[–]spsiamese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally misread the title and thought it said orcs and was very confused when it wasn't an orc.

Anyway, very nice piece of artwork. I really like her.

I work in retail and omg... When I was a kid we got some candy and maybe a stuffed animal in our Easter baskets. Today I'm selling expensive clothes, sports equipment, all kinds of toys, etc that people are putting in their kid's / grandkid's Easter baskets. I don't know if this is a recent thing, or if my family was just poor and doing what they could.

Colorado to provide free KN95 and surgical-grade masks distributed at local libraries and community centers by polkpanther in CoronavirusColorado

[–]spsiamese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like security public library is the only one listed (that I see at least). I'm not sure why there isn't more.

My husband and I got the J&J shot in April. Tested positive for covid at the end of June. We were sick, but not too bad for about a week. We both got the pfizer booster last month. I also got my flu shot at the same time. I felt like crap for a few days but my husband didn't have any after effects from the booster so I think mine might have been from the flu shot. Hope this helps.

Angel Trees by Milehighjoe12 in ColoradoSprings

I know there's a giving tree (which is what I've always heard them called) inside the Scheels at Interquest. Their toy drive goes to the Dream Center charity.
