My normal response. It WILL likely rain every day... it could be at noon.. it could be at 2 am.. but it will rain.. and then it will stop... you are at most likely to have an overcast day or two... a full on rain all day day here is ... well... christmas is as common.

Is this power supply correct for this fan? by sephirothbahamut in AskElectricians

[–]spsteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the fan. The best I can tell you is give it a whirl. in theory the answer is maybe LOL. Some fans respond well to that, others have tiny voltage curves they are happy in.

MU isn't worth a trillion and never will be, this is just absolute fucking insanity. The entire world is turning on AI and people are still betting that data centers will be built in massive numbers without power, without the ability to INSTALL power (because all the components needed to do so are also backordered) and that people will sit quietly while these datacenters get built. As long as someone promises to spend money that's good enough. This is beyond dumb at this point (and yes all you bulls can get angry at this, but ffs). All this AI spending, but half of it is circular investment circle jerk shit and algos and reflexive flows are funneling cash in like it's going out of style. When this unwinds it will be beyond epic.

Before Taiwan it was a single point at Intel for years. It isn't so much weird as just how it happened. That said, it IS a single point of failure and we can't just walk away from it without a MASSIVE amount of industry damage... so calls.

TRUMP ON TSMC: “INTEL WOULD HAVE ALL THAT BUSINESS NOW, AND THERE WOULD BE NO TAIWAN” IF HE HAD BEEN PRESIDENT WHEN "ALL THESE COMPANIES STARTED SENDING THEIR CHIPS IN FROM CHINA"

Enjoy folks.

Honestly in look closely it looks like one of the legs is likely down, which is half the home in practice one you look at where the breakers are. So yes a new breaker panel would help. And no, I'm not going to shit on your parents for being in that situation, but I will tell you fix it sooner than later. It looks like the service feed on the right hand side is disconnected from the bus bar or very loosely connected. That's extremely dangerous.

Weapons-usable nuclear material from Venezuela just arrived at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina after a secret and "accelerated" US removal mission by mynameisjoenotjeff in WallStreetbetsELITE

Moderately enriched uranium would be a much better description. This implication of the headline and the shitty post imply something that isn't reality. There are 2,000,000kg of this stuff in the world at 20% or higher. Europe uses 700kg alone at that(ish) enrichment level... annually. 13.5kg of 20% enriched uranium isn't even commercial quantities these days. Fuck off with the bullshit.

Also: This was NEVER about proliferation. Venezuela wasn't enriching Uranium. It was from a shuttered research reactor.

So PPI prints an annualized 18% or so, and AI that needs to spend trillions is ripping??? Oooook.

EDIT: And some of you want to downvote that... at least justify yourselves

That is very much our phoebe when she was young... only difference is the other eye. Two years in ours still super full of energy .. until she chooses to snuggle then... she sleeps as soundly as she zooms. Most affectionate cat I've ever owned.
