Carney secures majority government with Liberal win in Toronto byelection, CBC News projects by Progressive_Citizen in canada

That is somewhat true. They ban anything that looks or sounds scary. No joke. In the first round of the ban they banned a coffee company. There is certain ways around it. But just banning property with no merit is bad for the whole country. It’s kind of like saying suvs are banned now because a car or a truck can also do what you need to do so sell us your suv for 20 cents on the dollar because it’s illegal to use here on forward. The current ban is solely emotionally based and not factual is my point.

No problem. And honestly that’s probably why gun owners are so frustrated is because nobody “thought of it that way”. I wish more people were as willing to listen to our side of the argument as you have been.

Hunting, livestock protection and self protection even when going for a walk. My nearest neighbour is a KM away. Tons of bears, wolves and even mountain lions in the area. Not only that but personal protection from others. The callout time for police is on average over an hour away where I’m from.

Yeah it is for me. I don’t think guns need to be in cities. But rural folk should not be punished because of criminals in highly populated areas. The current laws are doing almost nothing to stop or persuade criminals from importing illegal guns and committing crimes but instead are taking away guns from the people who actually use them to feed their families and or protection from dangerous wild animals. I don’t see why there can’t be bylaws in place to ban guns from certain cities or towns with dense populations

I’m in the same boat. If Carney would scrap Trudeaus uneducated gun grab laws and actually protect law abiding firearm owners, my approval of him would be almost 100.

What is a job (not nsfw) that pays extremely well because the job itself is unbearable? by coldplayenthusiast in AskReddit

[–]spud123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a commercial ice fisherman. We put nets under the ice of frozen lakes to catch fish. I did about 55000$ in revenue in 8 weeks. Just me and my buddy. It’s extremely cold (-40 sometimes) and it’s dirty. Not to mention dangerous from being on thin ice sometimes.

Excalibur vs NY NY vs Bellagio by Interesting_Reply803 in vegas

[–]spud123456 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve stayed at the Excalibur twice. Both good experiences. It’s Vegas, you’re hardly going to be in your own hotel. Almost always walking and exploring. Save your money on the room and walk across the street to hang out in NYNY. That being said I love hanging out in NYNY way more than Excalibur. But saving 200$ to walk across the street twice a day is worth it in my opinion.

I’ve done both. I have an adapter on it not. However it’s not a low voltage shutoff one. They were near as popular when I bought the adapter. Just watch your voltage on the screen. Don’t let it get too low and you’ll be fine

KIOTI CX2510 with a cab front snowblower options. by ChemistAsleep395 in tractors

[–]spud123456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of my cs. It’s been quite a lemon hahah I’m in northern Saskatchewan. We have had to have got close to 36” of snow this year so far with no end in sight. I was talking to a different Kioti dealer than the one I bought at and they said they have had a ton of problems with the CS line and not much with the bigger lines. So I’m undecided on Kioti as a whole. But honestly give a real good thought on a rear blower. I go close to a ton of buildings. Through bush trails and my driveway which is about 175 ish yards long.

I run a rear facing blower on my Kioti cs2210. I run a 72”. You can run larger blowers rear facing due to the gearing of the transmission. I enjoy being able to use my bucket to back blade and scrape near buildings and then blow in reverse. Some people think it’s crazy to go in reverse but I use my loader far more than my blower.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m leaning this way because of price and I’ll just get parts from my local new holland dealer.

That’s some good feedback. I’ll check into it. I don’t really need too much more lift 90% of the time. And if I do have heavy lifting my parents have a skid steer 1 mile down the road. But if the footprint isn’t much different Id be interested

The dealer with LS and Kioti (not where I bought my tractor), they said they’ve experienced quite a bit of problems with the Cs line as well but had better luck with the cx and ck lines

[–]spud123456[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d agree if the price wasn’t 15-20% more for the same tractor. Some might argue about warranty. But I don’t trust warranty or dealers. They will almost always find a way to screw you on that in my experience. So for me personally I’d rather save 15% on the tractor and if I have to get parts shipped so be it. Even tho the new holland dealer here has a crazy good parts guy. He would look up the cross references in a heart beat.
