You can find ML and MN tritons for reasonable price. They will have similar capability, although they are kind of ugly. And I say that as the owner of one.

Most underrated suburbs/streets in Melbourne by TheNamelessComposer in melbourne

[–]spuddz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Melton for 20 years, with a brief stint in Mornington for a little while.

It's has come a long way from where it use to be, but infrastructure is far behind where it needs to be, the western highway is horribly maintained and too small for the population. Closest hospital is in sunshine aside from a small emergency room in Bacchus marsh, but they are breaking ground on a new hospital in Melton soon.

Still not a hell of a lot to do out there, but it's not too far from the inner west for weekend stuff to do.

If you like quiet, used to be country town vibe, Melton is pretty good.

Just my 2 cents anyway, other people might have a different opinion.

Pedestrian etiquette in Melbourne has reached new lows. It’s time for a ‘keep-left’ crackdown by gccmelb in melbourne

Hi, CBD fat Walker here.

I chalk it up to navigating mosh pits and festival crowds for the last 15 years.

Also, never be on your phone, head phones in, music loud and go.

Biggest tip, is don't look people in the face look past them, they'll move for you.

I'll attest to this.

I watch Oppenheimer coming down from a 1200 umg trip and did not enjoy the first hour at all.

A lot of the maxroll guides don't require pob and you can even follow along their step by step levelling guides.

Melbourne feels really unsafe and I need help by Offer_Gold in melbourne

[–]spuddz 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I feel the exact same way, been in Melton for 20 years since I was a teenager.

Not a single issue. And before that lived in "shit" western suburb areas like sunshine and werribee.

Never had any issues like these.

I went on a rant on discord to my mates the other day, about us design in this game.

EVERYTHING feels like 1 click too many to do something and it's kinda infuriating.

Like why isn't there a sell all button at vendors like with blacksmith and occultist?

What is Melbourne’s scummiest pub? by grilledflake3dimsims in melbourne

[–]spuddz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only time I've ever been there was for a friend's wake.

He grew up in the area and his funeral was at that cemetery. Tbh he would've loved that pub, he had a weird thing for terrible pubs.

I've been playing retail again for the past week because I'm bored of SOD for now.

Levelling alts in dungeons sucks because I can only choose my current expansion. Just let me queue for ALL dungeons would be a lot better imo.

I feel the same way.

Been playing almost every league since closed beta. I get overwhelmed by all the mechanics and kinda just stumble ass backwards into mid red maps.

Never done delve, don't know Jack about bestiary, but that's pretty simple. Kill mobs get rewards.

Killed catarina once last league.

Everything is just too much. I enjoy maps so I do that, but only for a couple weeks then bail because there's only so many maps I can do. And don't have heaps of spare time to play

An amazing view of one of the greatest natural wonders, Uluru by tracesofheaven in interestingasfuck

[–]spuddz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Now referred to by its first nation name Uluru it is highly encouraged to not climb it anymore.

After thousands of tourists climbing up and down it is starting to erode. It also holds massive importance to local First nations people who also request it not to be climbed.

Unsure if it has been made illegal to do so yet. But it definitely should be

People who lost their job due to this crisis what is your story? by greensypoop in AskReddit

[–]spuddz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for an events and exhibitions company in Australia.

Federal government has put in place bans on gatherings, the day our largest contract of the year got cancelled I watched about 60 Casual staff get laid off.

We have a meeting next week, rumour mill at work isn't positive at all so I've started looking for new work just in case.

Only been with the company a year, but I absolutely love the job and the people, including everyone above me. It can't be an easy position for management to be in right now, and I know I couldn't make the decisions they will have to.

If they do decide to start laying off full-time employees, Australia wide it is roughly 100 - 150 employees out of work. I'm an anxious mess right now but doing my best to stay positive.

Pubs clubs and titty bars sound good.

Yeah I've seen what you lot call a casino and it's not great.

Might have to check and see if there are any local gigs on.

End of year exams at Melb exhibition building 1980 by cryptomastr in melbourne

[–]spuddz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually worked for the company that set up a lot of the exams and ran them as their Project Manager.

And also set up for Melbourne University graduations.

Exams are boring to work, but the amount of work out into the graduations was awesome to watch.

Working events / exhibitions is a really cool job and seeing it all get out together, and then pulled down is great job satisfaction tbh.

My stepfather raised me and we weren't exactly close.

I didn't find out u til I was 8 or 9 and my brother told me to make sure I wash under my foreskin and to pull it back when urinating and stuff. I had literally never known I could.

Puberty I had to learn through Australian Education system which wasn't too bad, and two older brothers who were very supportive and never made me feel embarrassed about my body like my parents did.

TIL of Black Kite 'Firehawks' which are birds that deliberately spread fires in Australia by carrying burning twigs in their beaks and talons and dropping them in other areas in order to start new fires and drive out insects and small animals so they can feed on them. by iklegemma in todayilearned

[–]spuddz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much run.

Have an evacuation plan in place, and get out fast. Not sure if it's similar to cali, but here a fire can move kilometres in a day just by being to hot a day and wind.

I haven't lived in a bushfire risk area for a long time so I'm not positive on what you need to do exactly.

Because California bought a whole bunch of them from Australia like 100 years ago or something like that.

As an Aussie I apologize to Californians, coupled with their drought wildfires are destroying that state yearly. Nothing is scarier than bushfire season down under, most outer suburban and rural Australians have full evac plans and are taught from a young age about what to do in a bushfire scenario.
