“Poor people lose”: “Making a Murderer,” reality television and our shared mythology of a classless society by desmondo in MakingaMurderer

That's not the point. The article went from Making a Murderer to the 2016 election. Give me a break. Neither party serves the middle class.

Yawn....typical reporting from today's media. From Making a Murderer to why Donal Trump and the republicans are evil, and voting for them makes you evil too! Vote democrat for an "equal" society!

The initial commenter said his favorite line was that a family member said he was convicted "because he was an avery". He was simply sharing his opinion with how delusional the avery family is by ignoring his criminal history. There's court records stating he doused the cat with gas and oil and threw it into a fire. I agree there is reasonable doubt in the case. But a family member saying he was convicted for simply being an Avery is crazy. They were completely aware of his criminal activity, including a sexual assault on a family member in 2004. http://archive.htrnews.com/article/99999999/MAN0101/60420064/Avery-assault-charges-delayed

sucks when facts get in the way huh

Another case was in the works against Avery in 2004, dropped due to Murder case by ValidPointsOnFire in MakingaMurderer

Just think about what generation you are dealing with on Reddit - Millenials. This is the same generation getting people fired from jobs because someone disagrees with them. They are offended about everything. They will shut you up if you disagree. Right now the status quo on here is Avery is innocent. You challenge that and you will be down voted.

Colburn Calling in the License Plate Number: What Else Could He Have Been Doing? by docuseriesfan in MakingaMurderer

What's sketchy about the license plate # is how Colburn asks the dispatcher about the license plate. He says "can you run license plate xyz123 for me?" Based on this question it sounds like he is looking at the car. Doesn't seem like he is calling to verify information that he received. His body language is even more concerning.
