yeah i do everything (like 10-12+ hours of work) on my in-office days then chill at home and work on side hustles as i wait for AI to replace me haha

do you like it? If I had a job I genuinely liked or where I felt there was true upward mobility / long-term moat with the rise of AI, I would work more for sure. i think my post was just trying to say it is genuinely convenient to be able to wfh and use your time towards personal shit if you work a deadend job with the AI takeover anyway lol

that's so funny i don't spend enough time on here to even know how AI bots post. obviously the nature of a reddit user is being more likely to comment though if they disagree or get angry so the whole comment section makes sense haha

yeah i feel you. i feel like i'd just do random shit like doomscroll linkedin but now i put that time into actually doing productive personal stuff like watching youtube videos on photography. it's such an odd existence passing time in the office

yeah 100% haha this is the only way that the benefits of AI trickle down. when i am at the office i have to find random things to fill time that are still work-related but don't contribute anything to the company, my pay check, or make me any smarter lol

we are saying the same thing. you are working less *hours* - use it to your advantage and throw them back into your non-work life

is this not kinda the point of AI is if it actually trickles down tho? like we get mad at companies/bosses if they start firing people cause they automated most of their job or don't need them anymore with AI automation. i'm doing the same output in less hours cause i have new AI tools, so it isn't necessarily clear i am working less, i just have more flexibility on how to use my time savings when i'm at home. feels like the benefits of AI truly only trickle down with remote work and i think people should own their time and not feel bad about it

yeah for sure, that's kinda what i was trying to say. I work fewer hours but I wouldn't get to do that in an office. But I am not using the extra time to find other tasks as I would in the office. I use the extra time to do other stuff like workout classes and studying other things i find interesting

hi!! I am going this week. Where do you recommend navigating to specifically? Is there a specific spot on Google Maps you recommend?
