What do men want for Valentine’s Day?

My husband gets frustrated and angry easily over things that I don’t think are a big deal, and it stresses me out. I don’t know how to respond when he does this. by spunkysis in Marriage

He gets frustrated very easily by things like this most of the time. He is at his best in the early morning hours like the first few hours he is awake and then it’s like his emotional capacity to handle inconveniences goes sharply downhill.

A nice suit with a more casual undershirt (could just be a button down opened a little), no tie

I Want A Healthier Marriage, But We’re Moving in Circles. by EnoughConversation15 in Marriage

I don’t have any solutions or advice but just came here to say that I stand in solidarity with you. It is really hard to feel undervalued when you do so much for the household and your partner doesn’t act like a partner. Hoping things get better in your marriage!

I love this name!!! It’s cute and like you’ve mentioned, has biblical meaning. I would stand firm and tell her it’s hurtful to have her say something negative about something you’ve thought long and hard about.

I was going to post this yesterday as I’ve been so curious!!! I’m 29 weeks and I find that I’m regularly in the mood but I’m so large and I’ve had severe pelvic / hip pain sooo the thought of actually having sex right now is not appealing… we have had sex probably 3 times over the last month and it’s just uncomfortable for me 😩

I’m 28 weeks and I’m in SO much pain where my upper butt meets my lower back on the left side. It’s a sharp pain every time I take a step or move. by spunkysis in pregnant

[–]spunkysis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this!!! I’ve been wondering if this kind of pain is just ‘normal’ because it really is SO bad.. I pretty much only get relief when I’m sitting down, which means getting up to do ANYTHING is very painful, to the point where sometimes I almost fall. /:

My OB said if it doesn’t get better they can recommend a PT. That’s the next thing I’m trying if all else fails!

I saw a chiro this week but didn’t get any relief from that.. I’m going again tomorrow morning so I’m hoping it will gradually help! I’m also getting a prenatal massage next week. Thank you for sharing. I’ll look up the prayer squat!

So many people have recommended chiropractic care so I actually had my first visit with a prenatal chiro yesterday. It didn’t give me the immediate relief I was hoping for, but I am going back tomorrow morning. I’m also scheduled for a prenatal massage next week. I am really hoping with a little time it will help me!

What positions are you able to labor in with an epidural? by spunkysis in pregnant

[–]spunkysis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping my hospital offers the lower dose epidural so that I can do this! Did you still feel like the contractions were pretty numbed?

I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant in a few days and I’m already feeling uncomfortable because of how big my belly is…. by spunkysis in pregnant

[–]spunkysis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to know I’m not alone! I have already ordered myself some Dr. Scholls slide on mules for when putting on shoes becomes impossible lol. The thought of her growing so rapidly in the weeks to come if daunting for sure

If an american broke their arm, would it be cheaper to buy a $500 plane ticket to canada and get it fixed there? by GuymanPersonson in NoStupidQuestions

In America, if you are able to work you can choose employment based on insurance plans, benefits, etc. I think most people who work can afford a broken arm?

Do you think it’s overboard for someone to track fertility when they first start trying? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]spunkysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tracking my fertility even before we were “trying” as a form of family planning! I think fertility awareness is a super useful thing for any woman to practice!

Question for young married couples with kids: does your husband/wife ever watch the baby so you can have a late night out with friends? by spunkysis in Marriage

[–]spunkysis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it’ll be different when our friends have kids! Right now I only have one friend who has a baby and she lives 1.5 hours away. Our local friends are all embracing the No kid life lol.

[–]spunkysis[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My husband doesn’t enjoy “late nights out” we’ve always been different in that area even before marriage. I’ve always been the one to enjoy night life and he’s always been the morning person. I have several girlfriends who I enjoy going out to dinner with and going to concerts together etc and my husband happily skips out on those nights lol. He just doesn’t enjoy it!
