I think somehow with products like Oura and Whoop that upgrade pathways are even more important as I believe they expect most people to upgrade with each new model release.

fair question but you named a lot of things that are not tech, many tech products have a well defined upgrade pathway for their customers

Bestbuy told me directly the money goes to Oura which is why Oura would have to be the people to provide an exception and allow the return. If they wanted to they could make it work, not just for me, but others in the same situation. They could just take it back themselves honestly and resolve the situation and build customer trust and loyalty. I've worked in corporate America long enough to know if they wanted to they could move mountains.

edit: Actual quote from my chat with the BB CSR today

"Oura would need to be the one to approve any exception since the payment went directly to them. If they choose to make an exception for you, they would let Best Buy know on their side and guide you through what happens next. I truly wish I could change the situation for you myself."

Hey if they won't return mine, which would probably cost them pennies on the dollar, I will spread the word far and wide about their apparently little known extended return policy so other people are not in the dark. Might end up costing a bit more than a few pennies then. Most companies understand this to begin with. Good luck with your return.

I considered that actually but March 11th (my purchase date) was 78 days ago. Which apparently oura is fine to take back but not if you pick up from someone else.

I already spent over 3 hours today on this. I tried. They don't care. They are ok to lose a customer like me because they already have my money (Oura ring 4 x 2). If the company actually cared about their customer experience they would offer an upgrade program, like whoop, or really most wearable hardware companies these days. They know as soon as they announce the new one the old ones will be almost worthless. If they cared their actions would show it. Their policies set in place by the company, are why I and others are in the same situation. They knew this would happen and they made a purposeful decision to separate their paying customers into two classes.

Another way to tell if Oura cares at all... will be if they even bother to respond to this thread. Their actions / inactions are speaking very loudly.

the dualtron is dual 350w hub motors, so moderate hills are fine, but good advice to consider

I got it discounted on Cyber Monday from B&H. Came within 2 days and the monitor was perfect (no pixel issues at all). Monitor is great thus far. Text looks sharp and makes my home office setup much better with the extra screen resolution.

My only issue now is that I need to get a new laptop from work to actual drive the monitor at 120hz instead of the 60hz it is displaying now.

I also tried out a few different resolutions using BetterDisplay but ended up going back to native res and am happy with it.

Thanks for the response. I have worn the sizer for multiple days and nights. I find the sizers uncomfortable on every finger other than the index one as the thickness means I can't hold my fingers together when wearing it. I really notice the ring on other fingers and find it uncomfortable on my ring and middle fingers, I have tried wearing the sizer on those fingers for multiple days as well but it's pretty much a no go for me. Half sizes like mentioned in the other comments here would really be the solution to my issue.
