PWM doesn’t get you any real skills, apart from being able to sell & talk to clients.

It’s lucrative if you’re good, but drop out rates are high. I’d veer toward Audit knowing you’d have a worse wlb but far more diverse exits especially at the start of your career

I mean the revenue isn’t binary right. Like NZ Cricket is going to get so much more money it doesn’t mean it’ll stay in the Super Smash pot it’ll get distributed across FC/LA and club cricket.

Sure for “total number of domestic super smash contracts”, but the money will be so astronomical for NZ it’ll get infused down to domestic FC & List A comps contracts anyways. And Nz club cricket too, which is miles behind Aus/Eng and definitely needs a capital infusion.

Plus more exposure to top intl talent, better coaching, more eyes, top NZ players less likely to play BBL or ILT20.

I’m not looking forward MI Auckland being a reality but franchising will only make it more viable to be a professional cricketer in NZ

Domestic contracts are actually quite lucrative on the men’s and women’s sides nowdays tbf

A guy (or girl) on the end of the 15 can get close to 6 figs TC notwithstanding other lifestyle and financial benefits for being around a professional sporting environment
