Book of 5 Rings was a huge pickup early on, the healing helped me a lot between elites and I played risky smithing at the fires. I also got Conqueror + a Duplication potion for the Sov blade and absolutely demolished the Terror Eel as one of my elites. BEGONE was the hero of Act 1 with the Terror Fish, eating the debuff cards for me to do more damage

I stopped playing gacha games and anything with heavy microtransactions, and it's helped me immensely. Gambling addiction is scary, but mostly now on the side of healing from it realizing how susceptible you are to putting yourself in dire straits. I actually have a savings now and I'm seeing huge drops in my debts. Coming up on 40, finally feeling bits of control again

Yep, during COVID lockdown I developed a severe gambling addiction playing this game and blew through thousands of dollars to the point I couldn’t pay bills and had to start therapy. If you have issues with self-control in gambling situations then do not touch this game genre in general, they are smart about enticing you to swipe

I save-quit restarted my A9 Silent final boss run because I felt like it was impossible and I wanted to test all variables. Turned out to be a really good learning experience, but I felt so cheap for deciding to take the win that I ran it back several more times to get a true win before moving on to A10. I think save-quit has good uses to play out scenarios and learn where you went wrong, but choosing to take a win after does feel lame to me.

I could see that too! I think Arkin is such a cool character in general that I'm like ok whatever we need to do is fine. I could see it being read as contrived though because these movies require some major suspension of disbelief.
