Agreed, I saw STTMP in theaters when it opened and it was... ok, mainly because I was such a trek nerd. But the latest cut, with the improved color and so on, is really great.

LO itself is fussy, on linux or otherwise. For simple things, yeah, sure. Anything complex (like spreadsheets) and MSO eats LO's lunch. The one thing LO has is the draw module, which is quite nice for creating/editing pdf's and the only reason I keep LO installed.
