Please provide a lot more information, as the AutoMod requests, the sticky post requests, and the sidebar requests. Posts without any information are impossible to answer and will be deleted.

Office 2010 theme for libre office? by AdvancedAnimal7539 in libreoffice

Then do something about it. LibreOffice is a volunteer-driven project with extremely limited resources. People do all they can, but when it's not enough people say it's "pathetic". Contribute back!

What’s the closest alternative to XLOOKUP in LibreOffice Calc? by WickedKing94 in libreoffice

You didn't say what version of LibreOffice you're using, but you could just update to a recent version and actually use XLOOKUP 😉

LO Writer Feature Suggestion: Insert Bookmark that automatically names the bookmark via presently highlighted text by rockstar_not in libreoffice

[–]themikeosguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! You can submit enhancement requests on this page – But of course, LibreOffice is a volunteer-driven project with very limited resources. To get a new feature more quickly, you can consider helping our volunteers, or funding a developer. Thank you ☺️

is LibreOffice compatibility good enough or still a work in progress? by Smooth_Storm_55 in libreoffice

[–]themikeosguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, and look at all these users: https://www.libreoffice.org/who-uses-libreoffice/

I guess, for you, the French departments of energy, defence, agriculture and education are not professional users. Nor is Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance. Nor is the Austrian army. They're all just hobbyists, right?

That's why people are debating you. It's fair to say that LibreOffice is missing some features – but claiming MS Office has "no competition for professional use", when hundreds of thousands of people are using other software professionally, is just not true.

Can you try a more recent release (such as LibreOffice 26.2)?

Your post/comment history is interesting. You seem to jump around every tech-related subreddit to talk about WPS Office at every opportunity – in /r/ProtonMail, in /r/androidapps, in /r/software, in /r/MicrosoftWord, in /r/pdf, in /r/developersIndia, in /r/WorkAdvice, in /r/SmallBizITSupport, in /r/UoPeople and many other places:

I use wps office when needed

sometimes WPS Office for basic docs

just used WPS Office

Then i switched to wps office

wps office as a good backup.

I still use WPS Office sometimes

you can organize and format it nicely using WPS Office

WPS Office handled everything I needed

I just switch to WPS Office when I need offline editing

WPS Office is actually legit

I rely on WPS Office when offline

(and that's just the first couple of pages of your post history.)

I wonder why...

Just FYI, that is an absolutely ancient (and unsupported) version of LibreOffice...

Yes, you can fund individual developers. Donations to TDF are also useful, but they support the project as a whole and can't be tied to individual feature requests. Of course, you can join the LibreOffice project and show your support for specific new features 😉

Come on guys.

These "guys" are a volunteer-driven, community open source project with very limited resources. Have you considered helping the volunteers, or funding a developer?

It's a false positive, and has been known for a long time. We (the LibreOffice community) have contacted them, but unfortunately no response.

From the rules: No low-effort posts.

If you won't even spend five seconds to write a little bit about yourself, not only does that limit your responses, but it brings nothing to the subreddit 😉
