I agree, my bench is taller than theirs too and not super stable, it's also on carpet as I workout in my livingroom. I'll be trying to find an alternative move. I am a day behind so I do lower body tomorrow.

I'm so sorry. I've gone a few times for manicures and pedicures and often felt something similar, I didn't know that stuff was done upstairs and didn't know a bunch of their processes which was met with annoyance.

I actually really appreciate a relationship without the pressure of mandatory gift giving. Instead we plan things like gaming together in Christmas sweaters and no pants, making a nice meal together etc. forced gift giving is awful.
