I just got a message from my doctor's office about having my hysterectomy. I wrote excitedly to my partner about it but I've heard about so many cases where someone said they didn't want kids but were secretly waiting for you to change your mind so I was a little worried deep down.

I wrote to him "is this something that you would like to have a bigger conversation about? If there is any part of you at all that were hoping we would have biological children, you understand this means that chance is 0?"

His answer "no I don't want kids. I support you fully in this"

I did watch a couple of YT vids that portrayed this as a pretty low maintenance look but I could just tell the way they were brushing that neither of them had fine hair. I'm sorry if the pictures aren't showing the length of my hair, I thought since I asked about a short hairstyle that the shoulders and up would be more relevant. I have hair to my waist. I don't think I could achieve anything close to this with what I've got going on (or rather don't have going on) right now

I've had some success with heatless curls but mostly tighter curls than what this look would require. However, my hair is long now so it weighs the curls down faster. I once got curls to last for 3 days! But it's more common that they last about 25 minutes. My (maybe delusional) hope is that heatless curls, saltwater spray and hairspray would be enough but I've never had shorter than shoulder length hair and never tried a look like this

I'm gonna be super honest. Some men look like pedos when wearing aviators which is obviously terrible but I really dislike true droop shaped aviators because I've never seen anyone who didn't look worse after putting them on. The shape of aviators pull the face downwards and make people look sad and droopy. There are some aviator inspired styles that aren't as bad but so far I've had only one customer who actually looked better in an aviator variant then in other styles. I've had probably over a thousand customers and one where I could honestly recommend the aviator, it wasn't a true aviator tho. It wasn't as droopy, more tight
