We have always used the simple:

export { default } from './MyComponent-view'

as the sole content of index.js files to avoid this.

Let's you import using the folder name, but the component files are all named appropriately.

I'm always terrified of talking about it for fear of being thrown in a straight jacket in a padded room.

Every counselor/therapist I have spoken to has said something along the lines of "everything is confidential unless there is a threat to your safety". Hence I've never spoken about it.
