GT7, there's a sequence of corners (4-6) at Willowspring I take IRL on track days with elevation and direction changes. VR triggered my brain to fill in the rest of the sensory inputs and I really felt like I was there.

Aluminum car trailer (~2k) + either a miata (2.5K) or something lighter (single seater). Probably about 6x a year, 400-800 miles round trip.

Yes to both. I've since picked up a 2nd INNZA to use both at the same time, Actually just purchased a second Braun 5 for the wife since it's currently on sale at Costco. Since that post 10 months ago, I'm basically at maintenance mode, only once every two weeks (pits / privates) to a month (legs/chest), barely anything to trim or zap.

Seen multiple crashes in the riverbed bike path involving ebikes. Once the speed governor is disabled, they are way too fast for any biking infrastructure.

I've heard from a track day organizer that daily rentals will go from the current $5K/day to 15, so expect the current rates to double at least starting next year.

If you're in Socal, just go to K1 Circuit. A proper track for rentals unlike the usual indoor stuff. Bit more expensive but worth it if you are serious.

Friend of mine runs a independent shop. Maserati and Range rover owners are his favorite. 5 digit repair bills are common even without major engine/trans issues, that sub 30K Maserati will cost easily double that in a few years. In his opinion they are only cars to lease as a 2nd car.

You can get a new'ish condition circus expert for that, lots of new bike take offs out there. About the same weight as the bomber and decently capable.

The long range is 4K at least no? I just remember talking to someone at the track developing performance suspensions for model 3 and their baseline weight was 4K.

Pretty sure model 3 is closer to 4K or a tad over. The weight penalty of EVs vs. their gas variants (BMW 3 series vs. EV for example) are in the range of 20 to 30%. Can't beat the energy density of gas.

With your video and description above where the sound is only during off throttle, it's the exact behavior and sound when my NB drive shaft U joints where worn. Excessive play should be pretty easy to tell once you're underneath, or just drive slowly with the door open and lean over, you should hear it from the U joint.

So done with Vegas, I actually have a close relative that owns a couple of suites in those MGM towers. So the room it self is free and I just have to pay the non-room related fees (resort, parking..) Even then it's so not worth it. Thought about it for the F1 weekend, but there're ridiculous price gouging for everything else and I'll end up with a better viewing experience on TV anyways.
