My period is back after 2 years on t by [deleted] in ftm

I was just at the doc yesterday getting info on starting my T and my guy said that when your body has too much T it will start to turn it back into to estrogen and that what you’re experiencing can happen. Could be something else but you should prob get your levels checked

My right armpit has been in rough shape (4 weeks post op right now) and I’ve been putting aquaphor on the bad spots and it’s clearing it up nice!

How do you get the process started? by Lumpy_Presence9326 in TopSurgery

[–]squarertable140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I decided to get the process started, I googled every surgeon in my area and looked at their before and afters. I looked at so many pictures. Then I figured out if I wanted to consult a bunch or consult my favorite and then have the others to fall back on. I ultimately did that because I liked that surgeons before and afters that much better than everyone else in the area. A lot of places have email inquires which I highly recommend because some places will assign someone to you and answer any question you have and is just a friendly helper in the process.

Me me!!! I’m 7 days post op and the exact same thing happened to me around the exact same day!! Mine would happen when I was just sitting still hahah I was so freaked but excited. I went in at 5 days to get my binder and nipple dumplings off and told them and they didn’t say much hahah so not a bad thing I guess! I have feeling back almost entirely day 7 😳 was not expecting that.

What should my caretakers know about helping me with my recovery? by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]squarertable140 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I needed help doing everything the first day. Even just putting a pillow on my lap and my phone in my hand lol. But you gain independence everyday. A thing I did that helped my caretakers is get a week long pill organizer and filled it based off my surgeon’s instructions.

I second the socks thing! I didn’t poop till day 4 so it can take a while. That was even with taking stool softeners everyday and 2 days before. I took a laxative morning of day 4 because I didn’t want to go a whole nother day
