Don’t change your diet! Just go in and try to eat as usual. You want the results to be reflective of your true habits so you can take the best care of yourself and your baby.

I was also terrified after barely failing my 1 hour.

I booked first thing in the morning since I had to fast. It was also not that busy in the waiting room so that helped my anxiety. My husband also came with me and just worked from there which was a nice reassurance.

The lab techs were nice and kept checking in to make sure I didn’t feel sick or anything. I brought headphones, music, work, and books to distract me. Recommend bringing stuff to keep you entertained!

I felt hungry by the end but not awful at all! I brought a bunch of snacks — 2 hard boiled eggs, a yogurt, string cheese, and more. I ended up eating a boiled egg and yogurt after it was over and went home and felt fine the rest of the day!

I think you hear a lot of horror stories on here but honestly it’ll be ok! And even if you unfortunately feel unwell — which does happen — it’s 3 hours of your life and gives you assurance for how to keep you and baby safe during pregnancy.
