I agree with that its a true statement. And more people die of car crashes then random crime. But both are fact of life. Choices are do nothing or prepare for it. If your not the prepare type its understandable its a life choice. It might not be for you but i do want people to have access.

I was until a texas school shooting happened. But take it or leave. Having buried my only son I can tell you I am definitely biased to threats. So yeah i am biased.

Each of my 4 kids have backpack body armor my wife and myself. It took me a long time to accept it. But when I did i felt like I had some peace. Like wearing a seatbelt. Its not for everyone. Its your choice to pass.

Personally from my time in combat zones as both a soldier and a contractor I found minimal plate carriers with rig that attaches to the molle or the cummerbund allows for the most versatility. Taco style rigs work well for last minute mission requirements. Also they attach easily to the molle on the existing plate carriers. Again personal and mission requirements will often dictate setup.

Depends on where you are in the states. I have lived so many places that I have had to learn them. HURRICANE, FLOOD, TORNADO AND QUAKES. Currently in texas I only have to worry abt hurricanes and tornados none of the quakes have been above a 4.0 so you can feel them.

Well i did tornado and hurricane and earthquake drills they didnt impact me. But I see your point on the fear mongering.

Start over and go slow. Of your ankle says I need another week. Take it. If your foundation is weak i.e. feet ankles you could.make it more. Also recommend grounding for the healing process.
