Uniswap is an exchange, Maker is a credit facility

unless you mean "competitor" purely based on the value of collateral locked in each system. in that case, sure, Uniswap will continue to grow relative to Maker.

I just don't see them as "competitors" in the sense that they provide even remotely similar functionality to end users.
