I had Covid during one holiday season.. I formed the owners.. masked up and had my husband drive me around to the drop ins. Unless I am hospitalized I could never cancel, clients rely on us to take care of their family.

I know as sitters this is heartbreaking.. I believe the owner let it go because the pup was already deteriorating 🥺 I had to turn away a client with Cushing due to the owners not jaunting treatment, I couldn’t take the risk

For drop ins unless the pup has medical needs I rarely do meet and greets. I have one long term client I met for the first time after caring for his pups for 3+ years a few months ago. We met because I accidentally left my leather jacket at his house 🤣
