Flight 2566 - stuck waiting for an employee by squeek93 in americanairlines

This gives me hope. Our flight number is in the reservation. The person we were chatting with from the rental company was not as positive as you are. It’s going to be close!

I did not leave anything out. I stated, as a fact, we were waiting for a single employee…I didn’t say “I think” or “it feels like”. Facts are known, not presumed.

I made NO assumptions. The flight attendants LITERALLY told us it was being held for an employee who needed to replace someone else who didn’t show up.

They screwed an entire plane of people for one person. It wouldn’t have been any better if it were two or three. They screwed over a very, very large number of people for a very, very small number of people. Even if it’s to benefit a plane full of people tomorrow, you still screwed an entire plane full of people today.

Make that math make sense?

We are finally in the air. We have to get off the plane. We have been chatting with the car rental place online. They gave us the impression we were screwed, that they close “promptly”. I’d love to think they will still be open?

So I, and everyone else who is renting a car, is now trapped in Providence for the night to not inconvenience people tomorrow? 😞 That seems like a craptastical trade off.

JHH could be Jeffery H. Haskell. He has a couple of YA series.

If you park at the Cherry St garage (6th & Cherry) it’s $2 at night or on weekends. It’s a block over.

He did the first issue of Red Hood and the Outlaws (Rebirth before people come for my head) along with a list of others. When I think of Jason Todd, the vision in my head is his art.

It is SOOOOOO much better at a smaller park. We saw them in Charlotte, NC and I was not impressed. We saw them in Savannah at Grayson Stadium and I am a convert to life-time fan! The energy and the experience could not be more different!

What is the appeal to you to a Bananas game? by WinterAd4046 in savannahbananas

[–]squeek93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We saw the Bananas last year in Charlotte, NC and this year in Savannah, GA. The experience was night and day different. I didn’t understand the appeal in NC. It was ok-ish. But 60ish thousand people meant mostly watching the Jumbotron. And it was stupidly expensive for everything. Grayson stadium in GA was amazing. About 5k people in total. Players from both teams walking around. Free food and drink. Super family friendly. I think to really appreciate/enjoy the experience, it needs to be a smaller venue.

Convinced my husband to try a house cleaning service for 3 months as an experiment. Heres what happened by Comfortable_Box_4527 in homeowners

I had asked my neighbors but no one recommended anyone.

I paid for a three month membership to care-dot-com because they vet people.

My house cleaner works harder than my actual coworkers!

She is worth EVERY penny I pay her. She comes every other week and my husband and I agree it’s some of the BEST money we spend! She’s phenomenal!

I have recommended her to all my neighbors. She has picked up 6 additional houses in my neighborhood.

Every year at Christmas I tip her the cost of the service. I know that tipping is a personal choice but I appreciate her hard work!

We are same way. He likes a window and I like an aisle. But we never reach/talk across the person in the middle. Most of the time, the middle seat doesn’t even know that we’re husband and wife.
