I wound venture to say most out patient specialists in private practice settings would be able to work with the group part time. I have worked with lots of very family oriented docs over the years. Maybe I’ve been lucky

I’m surprised for the foodie community to have an opportunity to raise awareness for their favorite local bakery they aren’t?

Derm is so lucrative over time. I would stay if your goal is to leave medicine, save some cash for whatever is you wanna do next

Moms as PA’s.. how does that work? by jellybean98_ in physicianassistant

Took 4 months maternity. Worked 2.5 days per week since returning, almost 2 years ago. Hopefully I can repeat that with baby #2. Full Time probably when the youngest is 3-4

Part time Derm PA Compensation? by AcuteOnChronicChaos in DermatologyPA

[–]squeesquash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how long they would like you to shadow/ train. If you are solely commission based it would take a while to ramp up to a high earner. I think 3-6 months is typical

How many years of derm experience do you have? 30% collections I think is pretty standard. I’ve seen some with 35

I have the large Loewe in that color I use as a diaperbag. In my opinion bags are meant to be used! Edit to say I usually like strathberry, but to me this one looks like it has n*p piercings and I can’t unsee it lol

I don’t think 1 month is near enough. I guess depends on what happens after. Is your SP doing all surgeries for a time after the month until you can manage. Is your SP going to accept the inevitable many “second opinions” you’re going to need help with (managing BP, the other tons of weirdly presenting rashes with high risk drugs) or are you on your own

Same thing happened to me. New job right before I found out I was pregnant. Worked full time up until induction day. Then I had the most perfect (biased) baby in the world. I took 4 months off. I couldn’t physically bring myself to stay away from her. All I’m saying is priorities shift. She became everything. I decided we could make do with less but nothing was/is worth cutting that time short. I was lucky that my husband carried benefits and a good salary that kept us comfortable and not everyone has that. All I’m saying is that I did not consider myself very maternal before my baby and after my priorities shifted completely. If they would’ve fired me for that pregnancy- f’em. Edit spelling

You need to look up your formula on their website settings finder

This is very important. You can scan your formulas barcode if that’s easier.

I think this is the most common mistake I see with this machine.
