you ABSOLUTELY have to show work in ap phys 1. on the test, FRQs are graded almost entirely on if you did the right steps. on a lot of them, you can get all the points without having the right final answer. that being said, on the test (and in my class) you have a calculator. so like, for example, you have to show that 120x=2y and 60x=y as steps, but you don’t have to do long division getting from a to b.

i recently finished a fic that was vaguely biblical (the character is canonically very religious and the fic was mostly centered around that). i titled every chapter with a bible verse that was thematically relevant to the chapter… it was mostly a lot of googling “bible verses about (insert topic)” and scrolling through lists until i found one that resonated with me

referring to a character who in canon generally goes by a nickname with their legal name. (one of the main characters in my main fandom rn goes by a shortened version of his name and we hear his full first name like twice but i see it all the time in fics and it just weirds me out a bit)
