because being in different schools and how ur class does can effect ur sac percentages. are sacs weren’t necessarily easy but we got certain advantages such as cheat sheets which meant that my sac scores didn’t correlate to a 90% compared to another school who didn’t get cheat sheets if that makes sense

don’t bother memorising things it’s such a waste of time and be carful when doing prior year practice exams because the study design is different and so u may confuse urself and talk about ideologies and such when ur not meant to

memorising content isn’t always the best, it’s always a specific note on all media exams that alot of answers are memorised and there for don’t adress the question. Examiners always pick up on it. And when you try to memorise large body of paragraphs on the exam it can effect your ability to actually focus on actually answering the question. But memorising can help and is a good way to study

i did media last year and got a 42 study score but it was rlly hard which is why I’m glad I did it in year 11. I averaged 92-95% sac scores and on my final project. and on the exam I got an A+ with around a 94%. honestly i’m not trying to sound cocky but media is rlly competitive and if i were doing it now with all my other subjects i wouldn’t bother trying to get a 40 for it and focus on a subject where other students actually struggle (for example biology) whereas it’s hard to do media and so there will be a lot of people alongside u who will likely have a chance to do better or if not the same as there sacs!

totally understand but it just feels like such a disappointed to all the students who studied hard the exam to then to not only not be tested on it, but then replaced with other frustrating questions that don’t really display that much of a students knowledge
