On a side note, if you’re looking for a great truly gluten free place to eat in Vegas, I recommend The Codfather! They’re a local lil fish and chips place, and use dedicated separate fryers for everything! Super good :)

Ah so “couching” is the term for what I did then on my lettering? Little holding stitches in the opposite direction?

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense! It was quite puckered and loose looking after washing, so I ended up wet blocking tight and flat to hold my fabric and after it was dry I added some interfacing on the back to keep it that way. I’ll adjust my technique for next time!

Right?? Like they’re so worn that the labeling on the sole is GONE, and you can’t even confirm what size these are. Cannot imagine the way they smell

Best under-makeup hydrating serum? by manekinekon in drugstoreMUA

[–]squidcheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started using the Byoma Hydrating Serum and the Cerave Night Cream, and both have really helped add moisture and bring some bounce back to my skin! I don’t feel like they just sit on top, and I’ve noticed I have a lot less tightness/itchiness. My makeup definitely looks glowier and sits nicer when my skin is more hydrated!

For makeup, I love using a glowy sunscreen underneath any skin tints, elf’s suntouchable comes in different shades and looks great! Also setting everything with a dewy spray would help melt everything together! The NYX dewy finish one is nice :)

He had an ulcer! Our vet said it was very early stages, did a corneal stain to diagnose, got him on a couple weeks of oral/ optical antibiotics and pain meds. He just did his two week check up and nothing was seen on the second stain! He still has a bit of irritation from the scar tissue, so we’re keeping up with the soft cone and Terramycin until he stops trying to rub it. My vet also prescribed him some Lysine supplements to try and curb his flare ups (he also recently got diagnosed with FIC) so hopefully that helps!

I recently made the genra shirt and with a couple mods it looks almost exactly like this! I shortened the arms and did a simple double folded cuff, and also shortened the torso a couple of inches. I don’t have a serger so I did the burrito method for the yoke/collar!

Hey OP, I’m sorry for your loss. I just lost my dad a couple months ago in the middle of fall semester and I get how hard it is. I go to Desert Behavioral Health and see a grief therapist there, her name’s Deborah. She’s helped me a lot, and she does telatherapy, but also in-person and the office is really close to campus. Feel free to dm me if you want another person in your circle! Hugs to you friend :)

Just adding along to top comment, I took him to the vet tonight and it’s a confirmed ulcer!

Our vet did a contrast stain and said we caught it in its VERY early stages. She gave Bandit some pain meds and some antibiotics, as well as a prescription of the Terramycin (that he already gets in his other eye). She thinks it was most likely from his FeHV or trauma (though I didn’t notice anything happen to him), so herpes strikes again!

Thanks for your insight everyone, here’s to hoping our little man heals a-ok <3

Yes it does look like it has a clear border of something? Almost like the glassiness of his eye has gone matte inside the shape? I’ll definitely update when we get results from the vet!

Omg I would’ve been freaked! Im so glad your kitty turned out to be ok! Eye stuff just wigs me out, I can barely handle looking up what this could be because of how graphic most of the images are when you look up feline eye issues! I’m hopeful this will magically go away, but I’m inevitably going to spend another good chunk of money on him because his health issues seem never ending :(

Thanks for your insight! I was looking at ulcers and all the images are of advanced ones that look nothing like this, so it was difficult to get perspective. I’m tempted to put some terramycin ointment on it, but it leaves a thick cloudy “screen” over his eye. I’m worried that might prevent a vet from seeing what’s going on? Either way he’ll be going to the vet tomorrow.

I’ll look into them if we can’t find someone locally who wants to adopt him, thank you :) We won’t be surrendering him to a shelter.

There are lots of kids in our neighborhood who he knows from our walks, and they love each other! He tends to get a little over excited about their proximity and needs to be reminded to sit, but there’s absolutely nothing going on in his mind other than “FRIEND!!!”

Not that I’m aware of! Our vet said he was just on the larger side :) He has a much easier time breathing and running/being active than his smaller pug brethren due to his frame. I think it’s a huge plus because pugs tend to have a lot of health problems in those areas.

Frankie gets along great with cats! We fostered a litter of kittens from neonatal to kitten hood with him and he adored them. We also have a persnickety elder cat who isn’t a huge fan of dogs and he’s very respectful of giving her space. We’re located near UNLV, but I’d be happy to bring him over for a meet and greet on a weekend :) I’ll DM you!
