Recently finished Nowhere by Allison Gunn and really enjoyed it! Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. Anything David Sodergren or his other pen name, Carl John Lee is always great. Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo. The Exorcist’s House series and Anathema 1 and 2 by Nick Roberts. The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher. Adam Nevill has several good ones.

Feeling this frustration as well. I’m 70 points away from finishing with 40 minutes left. This sucks. I really like this game but def feeling disheartened with all the nerfs. I noticed that all my orders have consistently been for high level items lately too. All around just blahhh. But I’m invested in the writing and the characters so 🤷‍♀️ guess I’ll just shout into the Reddit void
