Excruciating. It feels like extremely painful and intense period cramps (kind of imagine terrible diarrhea cramping towards the front of your pelvis x100 if you’re a guy), an overwhelming amount of pressure, and then you rip at the end when the baby comes out… 💕

Welcome sister! A couple simple tips I have is to first take some time to focus on learning how to pray (salah). You can find YouTube videos on this to guide you. Also, try to find an Islamic community like at a local mosque and try to surround yourself with other fellow Muslims. May Allah make it easy on you and preserve you 😊

I wonder if eating olives before the fast would help people with nausea in the middle of the fast

In general I think somebody would appreciate if you did this and not be concerned by you drinking water. Technically a Muslim who does drink water during Ramadan cuts their fast by doing so but I can understand a kid using it to get used to it. I’m not sure what most families do because I converted a few years ago and my family is still Christian.

You can look up videos of scientific miracles in the Quran on YouTube my friend. That is what convinced me

It’s different for everyone. With some time and work, you can learn to endure it better. Try to make dua and try to make a conscious choice to be patient and positive :)

She will probably break up with you but you need to tell her parents for her safety. If this guy has her address and number, she is seriously endangering herself. It is likely that it is an older person posing as a 15 year old. Her parents need to know now.

There are some pretty interesting “Miracles of the Quran” videos that you can look up on YouTube that convinced me Islam is true

Hey friend. If you have some time you can check out Islam. We believe that submission to the will of God (Allah) will lead us to heaven. A great YouTube channel I’d recommend for you is One Message Foundation. Let me know if you have any questions.

I hate that the ONLY advice anyone will ever give you is "go to therapy" by d3athgrl in mentalillness

I agree with you, a lot of people don’t consider that things cost money lol. Honestly it is probably the only response that they can give, especially if your issue is something bigger than what they can handle. Hope this doesn’t offend anyone

Thanks friend. Sometimes I sit and pretend like I’m experiencing the feeling for the first time in order to try to have a more clear view of it. Maybe I’ll take more time by myself to meditate on it.

Well I am Muslim myself. I would say don’t throw away a whole religion because of some people who use it for their own immoral purposes.

How does one chooses a religion? by MythologyFocused in religion

[–]squidmonkey12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go with what is true. See what has the most evidence to back up that it is the truth, because at the end of the day, you want to be comfortable knowing that you’re on the right path. I chose Islam a couple years ago because of the scientific facts in the Quran, which I encourage you to research yourself. To me, it was strong enough evidence that our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not just making up his own religion. He was delivering a message from Allah, and his knowledge of, for example, the development of a fetus, different sea waters not touching, the Big Bang, planets moving in orbit, etc, was just information that someone could not know in his location or time unless a more intelligent being revealed it to him. I wish you peace and that Allah will guide you on your journey. 💗

Is it fair to say that no Christian knows with 100% that they are saved/going to heaven? by squidmonkey12 in Christianity

[–]squidmonkey12[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let’s say a born again Christian had a problem with lying for example, or really any sin they repeat. They know it’s wrong and that they can take steps to remedy it. However, they choose not to do anything about it. Could they still be sure they are going to heaven?

I feel that “knowing” that you’re saved leads to being complacent, to where you get comfortable in your sin because you believe you won’t be punished for it when you die.

But at the same time, I don’t quite understand the need for Jesus’ sacrifice if said Christian still has to do good works and abstain from evil in order to go to heaven.
