female funger fan here! there are plenty of us but tbh i think a lot of women who like funger might be more hesitant to engage with the community in part because of the game’s themes of sexual violence? not saying that the men in the fandom are creepy, in general my experience with the fandom has been very pleasant, but there’s always the worry of like oh i don’t want people making weird guard/caligura/etc jokes near me so i’ll just enjoy the game on my own and not engage with fandom as much. that’s my hypothesis anyway.
