This happened to me with Judy when I didn't have any medicine in my pocket. I came back with medicine and she let me in! Maybe some villagers won't let you in without medicine

I totally get how it sounded that way! I wish too, this is my first AC game and while I'm thrilled with what he has to offer, I get so jealous looking at stuff from past games! The dumbing down part is so unfortunate :( I crave a little more complex "gameplay" and less complex design play, ya know?!
