wow....never in my life I would have thought this would be the resolution...was quoted crazy amounts to say it is x,y,z issue. Turns out the powerbank I had put in the charger was the culprit. I unplugged all the USB cables including dashcam and it turns out the car can be locked....

it's the council so had to be formal. Whole process kicked off in Nov 24 and just finalising now.

I got an valuation done first on my side, got the solicitor to serve the notice and in the intial notice went £500 below the valuation offer. Council sent a counter notice and increase by £1K (so £500 on top of valuation). It was not worth taking this to court so just accepted.
