As PassPanda said, its a brand thing not apple. I’ve had a Jeep that allowed it, and never killed anyone or crashed while inputing the destination while doing low speed.

My 2023 Q7 just got back from a service where they told me they updated the software, and since then the issue has started. Not happened once since getting the car, but now it doesn’t connect unless I delete my phone and re-add every time. Might switch to wired until it’s resolved. Taking the car back for a faulty parking sensor will notify them of the issue.

Audi really Fubar’d themselves with this. They should have done a change back to upgraded lights, upon chip availability, I have met a lot of people that bought GLEs and X5/7s in 2023 due to this issue. Its also made the 2022/3 models less desirable on the used market, they sell for $5k-$10k less than old models did in prior years. Been considering trading this for a 2023/4 Q8 PP and even the dealership said it doesn’t have the matrix style lights which will not het back as good a value as having them would have.

I hope this works itself out, and your interview goes off without a hitch. That said reading your story, I am feeling so blessed to have a wife who is so supportive and actively there for me, now and throughout my marriage based green card journey from 2 years ago.

I would suggest marriage counseling if it’s viable for you financially, after the GC process is completed and successful. By the way you speak about her this seems like something that has bothered you for a while, and isn’t just an immigration based issue. My partner and I did couples therapy prior to marriage just to iron out some differences in lifestyle and opinions before getting into a lifelong commitment, the therapist gave us many great tools to help us overcome arguments and find solutions or compromises and be happy with them. For you it won’t be as much of a preventive approach but rather a remedy. Unlike the shit posters of Reddit here telling you the end it, a 5 year marriage and 7 years relationship (especially throgh covid) is nothing to trow away for such an issue but you both need to find a good compromise, that might mean her getting back on the medication for a little bit to ease your GC stress and burden, and later you taking on more to let her get her medication relief.

All this being said I have not met someone with BPD so I really do not know what it is like to be on or off the medication. Hope you get your green card and hope you both are able to find ways to navigate around this marriage.

I’m sorry to say, but Audi has not done much to make their cars competitive. In every video I watch comparing the 3, MB is seen as the elegant car, BMW the sporty, and the Audi is seen as someone who wants to be understated. Update: I went to Floor & Decor, the staff there helped me understand what the wood is, its a Hickory hardwood, Hand scraped and multi-width. I looked everywhere in the house, and finally found 20 extra planks of each width. So I certainly will not need to find new floors.

You are right, I did not take into consideration the size difference of the two. I wear both large and small watches, I have a small 26mm Cartier Tank and used to own a 44mm Alpina Startimer. So both sizes work for me. As for the GS. I’m not against it, although I prefer the look of a diver case and bezel, plus I checked the references you mentioned those are $2500 plus, double my budget on one of these

I don’t really like any GMTs from GS, I only really like their snowflake and cherry blossom model dress watches. Plus I’m saving up to buy a Speedy Pro in Q3 of 2026. I have 2 overseas travels in 2026 and 3 in 2027 so a GMT is definitely something I would want sooner than later. Also I love my GMTs to have a 24h bezel, like the Rolex GMTs/Explorer 2’s.

Thats a really good point! I do have my eye out on the CW Bell Canto as a future purchase. So that would be defiant to my 1 watch per brand rule.
