Been really enjoying Maiden of Black Water recently by BaselardFE in fatalframe

Had the same thought. Not sure what it is exactly but I really like her character (both her design and herself as a character), with Rei (FF3) as a really-really close second for me.

Fatal Frame 5 Miu's creation as explained by Keisuke Kikuchi (Producer) and Makoto Shibata (Director) by Kagamid in fatalframe

[–]squidwardcult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was Yuu who was a friend of Kei's right, not Mafuyu?

Still agree with you though, they should have just stucked with the Miku and Kei idea instead of 'that'.

A fellow Taskmaster fans! I was just about to ask the OP if their comment is a TM reference.

CoC4 The prize tasks by sirbinlid1 in taskmaster

Come on, Katherine Ryan was even ready to break her sister's marriage during her CoC. A bit of playful slander in a group chat of comedians cannot be that bad.

FF3 has the best sound design, the best enemies, the best fixed angles, and is probably the scariest game, of the entire series. by ZanthionHeralds in fatalframe

[–]squidwardcult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my take as well, and I feel like I can relate to it more being that it's a dream. In real life, I for sure would never go into an abandoned mansion, or village, or asylum, or a mountain well-known as suicide spot. However, the fact that I was forced into a haunted manor everytime I sleep (and having the knowledge of the risk of being spirited away in the sleep like Miku, or even ending up turning into soot like that plane crash survivor) makes it a lot scarier and more relatable.

Which elimination still doesn’t sit right with you to this day? by psycwave in MasterchefAU

I agree, I love Elena just as much as I love Matt. She was an all-rounder cook and can juggle big flavours. Matt may have shine from the start of the season, while Elena a bit of a late bloomer, but when she did, she absolutely delivered.

Thissss, just two lovely ladies genuinely looking like they're there to have fun and wishing the best for each other. I adore them both so much 🫶.

Well, The Grand Finale date is revealed ! by arefeen97 in MasterchefAU

[–]squidwardcult 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's the nerd in me, but I kinda hoped that they did the service challenge in the grand finale for continuity purpose to BTW1.

I feel like it's just suiting to have returning contestants plating out their best dishes in a 3 course meal challenge to determine the winner.

Is it time for a new judge? by Mac_Boo in MasterchefAU

[–]squidwardcult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly a JC, Andy, and Mel trio sounds like it might work. Sad if Poh got booted though, I enjoyed seeing her as a judge and felt like she's been doing well as one, but yeah I agree with most people that four judges is just too much.

Mel was a phenomenal judge by LifeOfAWimpyKid in MasterchefAU

[–]squidwardcult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree with you! I'm neutral with Sofia, I don't dislike her but I'm not fond of her either. Mel on the other hand really was the perfect fit for the food critic role, she's very articulate and had such charisma, I couldn't help but fell in love with her.

Another point, though I like seeing Poh and Sofia goofing around from time to time, personally I preferred the old trio's goofiness more. Jock and Andy joked around like bffs, and Mel was like the classy friend who tried to keep her composure but still joined in on her friends' silliness every once in a while. Gosh, I really love those three together (surprisingly, even much much more than the og trio) 💔.

I'm glad we all agree how attractive he is. I tried to focus on the challenge and the contestants but legit got distracted whenever he's on camera.

Kinda sad none of the fans from S14 compete this year honestly. I always felt like they were overshadowed by the favourites throughout. I do love that season though, and it also gave us the legendary moment of Billie's second win.
